Note to self. Avoid flying 737 Max 8 planes until the cause is figured out. Two crashes in very similar circumstances (just after takeoff) is too coincidental for my taste.

As hard as it is...Don't reply to conspiracy trolls in this section. They're just here to provide proof they're uneducated and/or incapable of doing some research. They give each other thumbs up...and ask questions intended to irritate rational people. Again, resist the urge to reply to these trolls. That's just what they want.

"Groupthink: a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome". That's a perfect description to what's happening in comment sections on Epstein's death. Wild and implausible conspiracy theories have somehow become fact. Groupthink in action. Let's wait for the full investigation before making conclusions.

I'm still waiting to hear outrage from the 15 million Kurds living in Turkey. One would think they'd be protesting in the streets regarding Turkey's actions? Or is that not allowed...
20
The UN, Europe and other NATO countries must immediately step up with severe sanctions on Turkey.
14
Fair move. The drone cost $175 million.
14
If you look around the comment section you’ll see why.

Here's the top 5 countries in terms of birth rates: 1. Niger- 7 children per woman 2. Somalia- 6 3. Congo-6 4. Mali-6 5. Chad-6 Why isn't the UN looking at the crisis of African third world countries contributing to human suffering with completely unsustainable birth rates?

@Sepheryn ..Yep, they poison every space-related video. And just a shout out for your great comment below on the dark-side concept. Fortunately, there's always a lot of educated people mixed in with the trolls.

The climate change movement is the new religion. And like all other religions it's based on lies, misinformation and unreasonable fear. It also brainwashes the weak and stupid with alarmist rhetoric for money (lots and lots of money) and control. While we need to be far more responsible and human activity is a factor, climate change has been occurring for billions of years. As have extinctions of species. There's many factors completely beyond our control. There will be significant climate shifts and extinctions regardless of what we do. Rational people care about the earth and push for responsible stewardship. Irrational people buy into the alarmist rhetoric and think we're all going to be dead in 12 years.
6
@Tenaki2427 ..That will continue to occur. I give Iran credit for not shooting down a manned plane. That would not have ended well for them.
6
The moon is no longer a priority for America. Been there, done that. The new technology is exploring the entire solar system..and beyond.
6
America is stronger than ever both domestically and internationally. Trump's done an outstanding job. He's made mistakes, but has succeeded with an "America First" approach. And he's done it despite daily mass-propaganda from Leftist media and a Democrat party that would rather attack him personally than help the country. You'll want to buckle in for a second term for Trump.
5
Just a heads up for Dems and those with serious cases of TDS....The Liberal media propaganda machines (CNN etc), certain Late Night hosts, and biased print media (Wash Post, NYT, etc) will ensure we're talking about Russian collusion right up to the end of Trump's second term in 2024.
4
Idiots. I agree with their cause... but negatively affecting thousands of people just going about their daily activities isn't the way to influence change.
3
I particularly agree with your point about her family. Radicalization of Muslim women likely can't occur without male guardians and/or relatives knowing and condoning. There should be an investigation on the support she received and her links in the community.
3
@painkillerjones6232 ..You know the answer to that question. The better question is... does it matter to you who investigates? It's clear many people have already made up their mind to ignore the results. They're piling their Epstein conspiracy theories on top of their other conspiracy theories. I can only shake my head and say again: Let's wait for the full investigation before making conclusions.

@mtebid5658 ..The Kurds fought with NATO (including Turkey) to defeat the real terrorists, ISIS. How on earth can they now be called terrorists!? If it was just about killing terrorists, why doesn't Turkey send troops to fight alongside the Kurds?
2
@user-jh9nx6tl1n ..I appreciate that background. It's information that most US media is ignoring, primarily because they're propaganda machines against any Trump decision.
2
@Tenaki2427 ..I agree Iran has shown some good restraint. Particularly for the tragedy with the civilian jet in the 80s. It shows they have some semblance of intelligence. Now if they'd only realize they can never be allowed to have nuclear weapons, they could be a safe and prosperous nation for their people.
2
@Coltranized ..What's most perplexing about your original comment is that you've shown intelligence and logic with comments in other sections. smh
2
@Coltranized ..And btw, my mom recently passed away. You need to grow up.
2
@Coltranized ..You appear to be 14 or 15. Google: "Traits of a Sociopath", and reflect. I wish you all the best in your battle against the illness. You have my sympathies.
2
@RJTrenbath ..I agree we need to be far more responsible with pollution. But the climate will change regardless of what we do. Just as it has for billions of years. The birthrate discussion is important. It's the root cause of other major issues facing the world, such as migrants and disease.
2
I'm curious if this "carbon free" publicity stunt will offset the thousand of tons of carbon emitted by all the rich and famous flying their private planes to Google's recent "climate summit" in Italy?
2
terence francis ..Your comment is confusing. What part of my comment do you disagree with?
2
@Yutani_Crayven ..I encourage you to read comments on this publicity stunt. People are irritated such stunts are getting attention. And many see through her parent's scam. It's clear many are fed up with the climate change businesses pushing their alarmist rhetoric. Still waiting for "terence" to answer my question. Terence, are you capable of adult conversation... or are you strictly an insult/ad hominem guy?
2
@Desmond Loo ..Well, many say that Fox News is neither biased liberal nor fake. I would agree. And their average viewership is far more than CNN and MSNBC.
2
@zaferturkoglu295 ..Can you please briefly explain exactly why your country is attacking? Serious question. I'm hearing many conflicting stories.
1
@kenangedik3678 ..With all due respect, I haven't seen a shred of evidence to support that claim. Can you please direct me to a source?
1
@M.A. ..Yes, and I saw one report saying it might have been $220 mil. No small loss.
1
Allegiance Commitment Via Genu Flexion ..You’re right, it’s not up to me. Fortunately we have the UN to handle such matters.
1
@thewebgear7077 ..The irony in your comment is that these protesters represent the Starbucks people far more than the other way around. This is Hong Kong. I'll bet many of these protesters have more money than you or I will ever have.
1
Headline should be: London's Mayor calls Trump a fascist so he puts him in his place.
1
@Axolotl_Mischief ..Your facts and logic are very rare in an Epstein related comment sections. We need more of that.
1
@Candy_Gal ...I'm a skeptic. I question everything. I have many questions about the circumstances of Epstein's death. All we know at his point is it was an apparent suicide. Everything else is nothing more than wild and implausible conspiracy theories. Worse, they're being repeated over and over. And over. I could claim he was killed by aliens and there'd be people who'd agree. That's a scary thought. We're smarter than this. Let's wait for the full investigation, autopsy, and all the related facts and evidence before making any conclusions.
1
@Candy_Gal ..Nothing personal, but saying "It's an obvious cover up" proves all of my key points. Also, thanks for that history on the conspiracy theory concept. Good info.
1
@Desmond Loo .. I'm referring to ratings for Fox News, not their regular programming. I've edited my comment to correct some misinformation I'd heard...in fact their viewership isn't more than CNN and MSNBC combined. But it's still #1... by a large margin. See attached: https://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/2018-ratings-fox-news-is-the-most-watched-network-on-cable-for-the-third-straight-year/387943/
1
@zaferturkoglu295 ..If that's true, it should be the lead-story on all media. It would add some much-needed clarity to why Turkey is doing what they're doing.
1
Funny, I think the complete opposite. I see Trump keeping the world safer by negotiating with North Korea and telling Iran they could be a safe and prosperous nation if they simply realized they'll never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. The "crisis" is entirely their making.
1
I agree with the decision. It'll act as a strong deterrent for idiots like her who think they can return. And why spend tens of thousands on a court case when she admitted her guilt. Any man or woman who joins terrorist groups out of country must be banned from ever returning. Otherwise, they could risk domestic security.
