0:46..That kid got an excellent and one-of-a-kind picture.

There's about 15 million Kurds living in Turkey. Just imagine how they're feeling as their own country attacks their people.

The sun is setting in the West tonight. It's just a ploy to distract us from the Epstein case...:/

Eco anxiety is an epidemic. The extinction cult and the brainwashed Swedish girl are walking examples. They should seek help. As far as rational people are concerned, all we need to do is be more responsible with pollution. The climate will change regardless of what we do. Just as it has for billions of years.
25
Fun fact: Based on 2018 GDP, three States have larger economies than Russia: California, Texas and New York. And California beats France too.
18
So...Trump works with Switzerland to help establish communication channels with Iran for diplomatic solutions and to reduce tension. Not sure how that could ever be seen as a bad thing but sure enough...
15
Not good advertising for Jeep. All the other companies are loving this.
14
Eruptions such as this can influence global weather and climate for years. This is due to the millions of tons of ash and gases ejected into the atmosphere. I hate to state the obvious... but media and climate alarmists constantly lie by omission. They rarely mention the massive impact volcanoes can have on global weather and climate. They try to brainwash the masses that everything is due to human activity.
13
Two globalist leaders with very low approval ratings. Two leaders who've been ruining their countries with globalist policies. It's only logical they'd be friends.
12
Just a reminder to those afflicted with eco-anxiety who may think solar eclipses are caused by climate change...they're not. Like heatwaves, hail storms, droughts, flooding and everything in between, they're natural events on our 4.5 billion year-old planet.

"Turkey considers YPG a threat for links to a decades-long Kurdish insurgency at home". This is something US media isn't reporting. Even pro-Trump media. There's a big division in the US right now on whether getting our troops out of Northern Syria was the right move (I personally agree with the move). There needs to be more facts on exactly WHY Turkey is doing what they're doing. And I'll add that there's new reports in US media of Turkish troops committing war crimes and killing civilians. If that is proven, it will not bode well for Turkey with regards to sanctions, UN action and their standing in NATO.

Brainwashed cultists shouldn't try to protest at a private function. The Minister did a great job escorting her out. Something security should have prevented LONG before it got to that point.

Always a great sight. It happens every year to some extent. And it completely stopped flowing in 1848 due to a massive ice jam upstream from the Falls. The whole freeze spectacle has been occurring for over 5,000 years in the current formation of the Falls. And prior to that, the area saw some interesting geological events as the ice-sheet covering this part of North America started receding around 14,000 years ago. Why do I provide so much superfluous information? Because comment sections for any natural weather event inevitably become infected with climate change alarmists, those who attribute everything to a 2,000 year-old God story, or those who think everything is a sign of the apocalypse. smh
8
@nubserver ...That's technically true. But they're a distinct ethnic group. It would be like America attacking Mexico. Imagine how Mexican-Americans would feel.
8
@dissociativecat7495 ..Let me add a couple facts to your good points: They also spend over $20 billion per year on illegals/undocumented and have sanctuary laws that put the rights of non-citizens over the Constitutional rights of actual citizens. The list on California's problems goes on, and on.
7
..We've spoke before Terry. I encourage you to drop the insults and keep your comments focused on the issue or topic. Switzerland has always had a critical role in mitigating global issues. They're trusted. It only makes sense to involve them in the Iran issue.
6
Micho Rizo It's ok to disagree. For the current issue, I'm curious what do you think should be done regarding the caravan and border?
6
This is neither news nor trending. I'll never understand why Youtube manipulates information. Very few people care about the UK royals. (And no, I didn't watch the video. Just here to express my disagreement this garbage is in the news section of trending).
6
Great to see the President going to Ohio and El Paso. It's important for leaders to show up in times of tragedy. And for those who disagree with Trump's visits...it's all about the victims, first responders (some of whom are heroes) and all the friends and family affected. It's not about Trump. Move on.
6
Trump's right. America can't be the only country to police the middle east. Turkey's aggression will be dealt with through economic means.
5
@h.plovecat4307 ..Depending on the metric, that's about right.
4
McCarran said it well. And Trump's been right since Day 1 with respect to our border and immigration issues.
4
Those trying to argue the citizens of Venezuala need guns should take a big step back...and think. If the citizens tried to protest with weapons they'd all be dead. Not just a few.
4
My sympathies to the weak (addicted) and stupid who think vaping is a good idea. Is it better than smoking? Yes. But that's like saying doing meth is better than heroin.
4
"Demonstrators clashed with police, set fire to barricades and attacked stores". In other words, they're clueless idiots who are just trying to cause mayhem. They deserve tear gas, arrest, and criminal records.
4
Or... maybe don't put yourself in a situation where tear gas will have to be used?
4
@Nothinleft ..I respect your opinion. The reason I ask you the question about conditions is to force you to think about how long the Middle East has been under wars, ethnic cleansing and border disagreements. The US can't be expected to keep our troops in Syria forever. It's not our job to police the area. The main reason we were there (stopping ISIS' advance to protect our allies, including Turkey) is no longer an issue.
4
@omarpadilla5155 ... In the short term there's no risk to North America. But the eruption could influence global weather and climate for years. A good example of this occurring is the 1992 cataclysmic eruption of Pinatubo in the Phillipines. The eruption was attributed to a cooling of the entire earth in the following years due to the ash and gases reflecting solar energy. Again, the main reason for my comment is that media and climate alarmists rarely mention the many influences on weather and climate aside from human activity.
4
..Read my comment again. Slowly. I fully support Trump's action. Your comment could be directed at many others in this section who are afflicted with full blown TDS. (edit: without the insults)
3
..No worries. Keep up the good work defending logical moves by our President.
3
If those protesters had guns they'd all be dead, not just a few.
3
There needs to be far more of this type of action. If evidence shows parents, family, Imams, or anyone in the community knew of radicalization or planning, they're accessories.
3
Micho Rizo I too feel bad for them... but agree we can't just let them in. That's why Trump's approach to the border and immigration are correct (short term and long term). I fully support legal immigration and valid asylum requests. The caravan needs to get in line, apply, and get screened/vetted. It's also important to remember many of the women and children have turned down Mexico's offer of asylum.
3
Should have been a long jail sentence. He's an obscenely rich idiot who was essentially stealing from the country.
3
Kudo's to VOA for putting proper context to the "record" number of fires in the Amazon this year. As noted, they've only been keeping records since 2013. Many media are lying-by-omission by using the word "record" without giving proper context it's only based on 6 years of data.
3
Myst ..Just to be clear...my comment was a joke. It was intended to mock the idiotic idea comments all over this comment section. I figured using a reference to the sun setting would make it clear.
3
That would be a good opening sentence in a book.
3
@jacobmcandles1745 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_was_a_dark_and_stormy_night
3
Impossible to see this great story in a negative light. Right? (That's rhetorical, of course anything Trump related will result in the TDS crowd filling the comment section)
3
Angry Combat Wombat ...If Trump had hired a catering service or used his own infrastructure from hotels, he'd be criticized. If he personally ground the beef, baked the buns, and grilled burgers for team, he'd be criticized. And if Obama had done the exact same thing, it'd be deemed cool and in-touch. I think you get my point. The entire discussion on this topic is an insult to our intelligence and a perfect example the Trump Derangement Syndrome epidemic is getting worse.
3
Supporting Guaido is a good thing. But superstitious nonsense like the Jesus delusion has no part in politics. You might as well have referred to your daily horoscope. I urge you to keep superstitions out of serious issues.
2
Micho Rizo And you really need to drop the ad hominem attacks. Why on earth would you call someone you've never met a 'trumptard' simply because you disagree with their opinion?
2
There needs to be more discussion on bikers who drive to be as loud as possible. In my area there are multiple losers who've altered their mufflers to backfire. They don't realize we're laughing at them. Bikers who drive to be loud have tiny dicks and are compensating.
2
Every year there's hundred of thousands of wildfires throughout the world. They've been occurring for billions of years. As long as burned areas are left wild the eco-system will come back stronger than ever.
2
Just to be clear, my thumbs up for the video is because the climate cult continues to make themselves look like idiots and their "protests" are having the opposite effect of what's intended.
2
@blizzyyt2281 ..We've spoken before. Let's just agree to disagree.
2
@evelynwashere13 You're right. But my thumbs down for the video has been registered. And I long ago said 'not interested' to this channel (along with "E-news'). My concern is how Youtube is manipulating trending sections.
2
Myst No worries! You said exactly what I’ve wanted to say countless times in the past few days. And I just came from the CNN vid on the Pha shooting. It’s a lot of the same garbage on Epstein. But I’m also seeing a few rational people like us. There may be hope...
2
@juanjosetalerogarcia902 …Nope, it’s about 4.5 billion years old. This has been proven using multiple scientific methods including the dating of rocks using the radioactive decay of elements such as rubidium and strontium.
2
@jacencade4019 A very confusing comment. I made it clear they're clueless idiots who deserve everything they're getting. Why would I "do it"?
