  1. I'm curious when Seth will realize he's building support for Trump with every propaganda clip? People see through his lies-by-omission. alt-facts, ad-hominem attacks, insults, and cherry picking of quotes/ stories to suit his propaganda. I know anti-Trump propaganda is likely the only thing keeping shows like Colbert and Meyers afloat. But at some point they'll both admit the country's doing great in all the areas that matter. And that people are tired of their propaganda. Trump is keeping all the promises that got him elected. Or working on them. His accomplishments have been excellent. Depending on whether you get your information from late night TV propaganda or not, of course.

  2. dn va, ...what Meyers and Colbert are doing stopped being jokes or satire over a year ago. Have you ever heard them "joke" about the Democrats, Obama, or Hillary? Have you ever heard them reference Bill Clinton's impeachment for lying to a grand jury? Or how about Hillary's "I don't recall" testimony regarding her emails, Bengazi AND Bill's affairs? It would seem to me the jokes would write themselves.... Trump's doing great in all the areas that matter. For example, the economy, job growth, foreign policy, national security, immigration policy, etc.

  3. dn va, ...We'll need to disagree on a number of issues. 1. The 'thanks to Obama' line regarding the economy is both illogical.... and overused. Trump has managed to maintain momentum since the 2008 recession despite massive challenges with the global economy 2. His tax reforms will go down as a historic point in the US economy and the best legacy from his first term. For example, he made the US globally competitive with the Corporate tax rate. It's already brought thousands of jobs and $Billions in investment back to the US. The reforms were the # 1 reason Apple gave for investing over $400 billion in new US-based spending. 3. Trumps' foreign policies have been excellent thus far. Remember, he's less than 2 years into his first term. Foreign policy takes time. 4. In a short period, he's rebuilt many relationships Obama tarnished. For example, with key allies Israel, China, South Korea, and Japan. 5. It's highly illogical to say Trump's been 'played' by North Korea and Russia. Unless you can offer anything to rationalize/substantiate the statement, you're simply repeating a line from propaganda shows. 6. Obama's Iran deal reduced sanctions on a terrorist regime. It allowed them to get billions in extra cash. And it did little to assure key US allies in Europe and the Middle East. It needs to be reworked. Which is why Trump has massive support from key allies on the decision. 7. MANY Presidents have promised to move the US embassy to Jurusalem. Trump is the only one with the guts to do it. There are many ongoing issues Trump is still working on. For example, the wall, healthcare, domestic energy programs, immigration policy, etc. But he's working on them. And sorry, but it's illogical to point to gas prices as any indicator of political success. Be patient. Thanks to Trump things look like they're going to get even better for the US in the future.

  5. dn va...Trump has far more than "two jobs". And as I said, healthcare and the wall are works in progress. It's illogical to expect them to be achieved in less than 2 years. Regarding the interest rates and money for 'big banks'....It's impossible to have a strong economy without some balance. There's going to be shifts between consumer and lender. It's impossible to keep both sides happy. What's important is the big picture. It's great you're thinking about the important issues.

  6. New Message..... I'm usually a critic of your meaningless copy-paste drivel regurgitating the same jokes over and over. And usually I like to remind you Youtube disabled the thumbs down icon years ago... and you're only seeing one opinion on your redundant garbage. And I usually use the opportunity to point out Professional Youtube commenters (such as you) are ruining Youtube comment sections. But not this time... This particular comment is worthy of at least a half-thumbs up! You actually made reasonable points on a serious issue. You actually showed you might understand it's critical to get facts. And to look at more than one side of any story being told. (particularly in a Seth Meyer's anti-Trump propaganda vid). Unfortunately, your final sentence ruined what could have been a good comment. You digressed to the aforementioned garbage. Just like your other comments in this section. But I'm still giving you a C+ for effort.

  8. Chunkboi, you make many good points. However, we'll need to disagree on many topics. For every source/indicator you used to support your opinion (or counter my opinion) I could find a source/indicator to support my opinion and counter your argument. I'd be remiss to not address one of your key points, however. Trump's made many important decisions to reverse Obama mistakes (a big part of why he was elected)...but the following 3 are among my favorites: 1. Getting the US out of the ridiculous, unenforceable, photo-op, billion dollar boondoggle called the Paris Climate treaty. A deal that benefits the world's worst polluters at the expense of responsible countries. 2. Overturning Obama's perplexing cancellation of the Keystone Pipeline. 3. Giving more power to individual States to control their own environmental policies by reducing Federal regulatory hindrances. And remember...Citizens in the "energy" States have the ability to dictate whether they want coal mines, pipelines, fracking, etc. If the majority don't, they can simply vote for a different State government (or work to change State policy). I can't verify the following statement... but I believe most US states exceed emission targets and have significant environmental controls that surpass other countries? California comes to mind. And they have a larger population (and GDP) than Canada. Lastly, we'll REALLY need to disagree on what Seth Meyers' doing with his incessant anti-Trump propaganda. Propaganda is defined as "Information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view." 1. Meyers misleads with almost every Trump or Republican "joke". Mostly with lies-by-omission from cherry picking quotes and articles. And his video subject lines are often flat-out lies intended to misinform/mislead. Finally, he regularly changes the context of 'news' to push his personal agenda. In other words, what he's doing fits the definition of propaganda. 2. Have you EVER heard Meyers joke about ANYTHING anti-Democrat or anti-Obama/Hillary? For example, why no mention of Bill Clinton in relation to the Stormy topic?! (the jokes write themselves). Meyers personal bias (and that of his employer) means he'd never speak negatively about the Clintons or the Democrat party. 3. Have you ever heard Meyers joke about ANYTHING positive Trump has done? As I noted above, the list is long. For example, his propaganda on the tax reforms was egregiously one-sided, negative and deliberately misleading. (yes, I know the personal tax breaks have a sunset clause. But can you imagine any future government raising personal taxes?! Trump's move was brilliant. ) 4. Meyers would rather joke incessantly about any topic that misleads and/or pushes his personal bias. For example, the dead-in-the-water "investigation" on Russia we've been hearing about for over a year. Or giving the porn star extra coverage at any opportunity (see # 2). 5. Meyers propaganda also uses repeated and cruel attacks on Trump's wife and family. It's ok to insult Trump... since he regularly insults others. But attacks on Melania, Ivanka and others makes Meyers look like a delusional idiot. It's not "comedy" to incessantly bring the President's family into his propaganda. Bottom line, we'll need to disagree on the most important principle. I think the US is doing excellent under Trump. It's significantly improved over Obama and the Democrats (I shudder to think where we'd be under Hillary). And Trumps less than 2 years into a likely 8 year run.

  9. Thanks for some facts and logic. Its rare in a Seth Meyer propaganda vid's comment section. Aside from his lies-by-omission in the segment, the vid-description area says its all a "wild conspiracy theory". It's sad there's so many in this comment section who are unable (or unwilling) to understand the level of Meyer's propaganda.

  12. StuntpilootStef.....I've been down this road many times. For every list of statistics and indicators I provide on how the country's doing excellent under Trump, there is a list of other statistics and indicators you can provide to counter. The discussion would inevitably come down to very subjective arguments. What I deem as important for the country may not be what you deem important (and vice versa). Another thing I've learned going down this road is regardless of the statistics and indicators I provide someone will usually say "that's all Obama". Or worse, they'll use the "whataboutism" approach to cherry pick an indicator that supports their overall bias. (btw...this is what Meyers and Colbert do on a daily basis in their anti-Trump propaganda vids). And always remember another dichotomy in political discussions; many who support the great job Trump's doing for the country focus on the 'what' (eg. results, outcomes) not the "how' (eg. ongoing processes). A good example of this concept is the many global trade negotiations. Although nothing's been decided (no outcomes) in many areas... some are utterly obsessed with the process. It's perplexing. Negotiations take time. Bottom line, I think the country's doing great in all the areas that matter. But what matters to me may not matter to you. I'll ask you to continue to look at the big picture. And remember it's impossible for any one President or party to please everyone.

If you're curious about what I think matters, I have an original comment in this section. I made a very long list of the reasons I think Trump's doing a great job. I discuss domestic and global issues. I point out why I think the country's doing excellent in the areas that matter. Supported by some statistics and indicators. You're welcome to join that discussion. (please read the entire section; there's others who made the exact same arguments you've made) Lastly, I congratulate you both for not resorting to insults or ad-hominem attacks. Your approach is rare in a Seth Meyer's anti-Trump propaganda vid. This is hostile territory for anyone who supports Trump's great work thus-far and/or looks at the big picture and long term.
