You lied by putting the words in a quote. Trump never said those exact words. He repeatedly said things like "Mexico is paying" but never that they'd "agreed" to pay. And by the way, Trump made Mexico pay for more border security (on their southern border too) and with the new NAFTA agreement. .

@nathanandrews639 ..That's not how it works. The burden-of-proof for a claim is on the person making the claim. I don't have to disprove anything. A good example of this principle is a God believer asking an Atheist to prove their God (pick one) doesn't exist. So....the burden of proof is on you. Please prove Trump "encouraged Russian bounties on US troops". I look forward to your proof. And if you can't provide any, you will prove my claim you were lying.

Imagine the outrage if Trump's press secretary answered a great question about national security with: "I'd point you to Homeland Security for more specifics". Geezus...it's her job.
