While that's true, the differences between the two situations are massive:
1. Clinton's impeachment inquiry was bi partisan, with 31 Democrats voting along with the GOP. Conversely, Trumps was 100% partisan, and even had 2 Democrats vote against.
2. Clinton's impeachment hearings involved the third branch of government, the judiciary, as the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) contributed to House evidence. Conversely, there was NO involvement of the SCOTUS in Trump's process. (the biggest mistake the Dems made)
3. Clinton's eventual impeachment was bi partisan, with 5 Democrats voting to impeach their own President. Meanwhile, there were NO Republicans who voted to impeach Trump (and also two Democrats against).
4. Clinton's impeachment involved actual, proven felony crimes (perjury, witness tampering and obstruction of justice). Meanwhile, Trump's doesn't involve a federal crime.
Long story short, Clinton was convicted of perjury and obstruction but 100% of Democrat Senators voted he remain in office.
And yet there's still brainwashed, uninformed Democrat supporters who think Trump will be removed.
One can only shake their head.
