Let's remember that Clinton's impeachment inquiry was fully bi partisan, with 31 House Dems voting along with the Republicans. The inquiry dealt with Clinton's perjury with a Grand Jury (not Congress), along with witness tampering and obstruction. The eventual impeachment vote included 5 Democrats voting along with Republicans on what were clearly impeachable offenses (perjury is one of the worst crimes possible for a President) So...Clinton's was was a bi partisan impeachment. Compare it with Trump's process. Zero Republicans voted for the inquiry and there were 2 Democrats against it. And the impeachment vote will be all Democrats, with likely a few more Dems voting with Reps against. Bottom line, this will go down in history as dark period for the Democrat party, who abused their Congressional powers and forever lowered the bar for impeachment. They used hate over facts. And worse for Dem supporters, they've pretty much guaranteed a second term for Trump with their incompetence and political games.

@spfttt ..What happens in the future is irrelevant. The fact remains this is a 100% partisan impeachment. The comparison to Clinton's bi partisan process is very important, particularly for how it will be viewed in history. And I encourage you to pay attention in the next few days as the Democrats continue to embarrass themselves by contradicting what they were saying in '98 and '99 regarding Clinton's impeachment. For example, brace yourself for Nadler, Pelosi, and Schumer, et al being called out for their hypocrisy. Bottom line..Trump's winning the public opinion battle. His support is stronger than ever. And the percentage of people against impeachment has grown throughout the process as it became clear there's no hard evidence. And as the Dems continued to make thing up as they went along and change what the charges were (remember back when it was "bribery, extortion and treason"?...smh) The Democrat's incompetence and partisan games are guaranteeing a second term for Trump. It's best you start accepting that fact.

@spfttt ..I encourage you to do some research on Constitutional Separation of Power. Congress isn't all-powerful. Trump has leveraged the power of the Executive Branch to prevent Congressional abuse of power and partisan politics. Just like some past Democrat Presidents. The "Obstruction of Congress" charge is a joke and dead on arrival to the Senate. The Dems needed to put the defiance of subpoenas to the SCOTUS for a decision. But because they were rushing impeachment, and knew they'd likely lose, they didn't. Again, I encourage you to do some research on Constitutional Separation of Power. Trump's been very smart to leverage the principle in the face of the Democrat's political games.
