Officer Tatum…It’s time for another reminder to your viewers that the scammers impersonating you in the comment section of EVERY video aren’t you! People still fall for it. Also a reminder you (your staff) can block the scammers much quicker than the time it takes YouTube to deal with them.

@MerkDolf I'll add that a great solution to deal with these scammers that's worked on other channels like Shapiro, Cooper and Knowles is for the channel owners to simply monitor their comment sections and block them as soon as they appear. For some reason Tatum won't do that, which is very confusing and frustrating.

@MerkDolf I can pretty much guarantee it wasn't Tatum's staff who blocked them. I've reported multiple scammers for this vid, including 2 today. YouTube can someone be pretty quick shutting them down. Of course, they simply create a new account and start all over.

@millwork3319 Yes, every one of those type of comments are from scammers. Pretty much everyday I see people replying assuming it's Tatum. They want people to send texts or telegrams however, which is how they draw people into their scams.

@MerkDolf I'll look into that thanks. I report every scammer through their home page. I've also sent YouTube numerous feedback emails on how they could seriously deter these scammers. All they need to do is implement a control on comments that prevents posting multiple comments within minutes or copy pasting the same comment over and over. These scammers blitz comment sections and can post a hundred comments in minutes. You'd think YouTube could figure out a solution but they're too incompetent. Another possible solution is blocking IP addresses so the scammers can't just create a new account, but they're clearly hiding their IPs behind a VPN.
