  1. If Mexico wasn't overrun with criminal cartels and had some semblance of security and control on their Southern border, there'd be less urgency for the border barrier. But it's clear they'll continue to pose a risk to America's security thru their inaction. The sooner we start building the barrier the better.

  5. All the causes you mention are valid. But it's highly illogical to deny there's massive tangible and intangible value to an effective border barrier. For example, it's estimated illegal immigrants cost the US well over $50 billion per year (a 2013 estimate..see link below). And it's impossible to put a cost on the drugs and human trafficking. I do. It'll be an excellent deterrent. Which is why both Obama and Hillary wanted it. It's ok for people to disagree. I encourage you to drop the misplaced ad hominem and insults. And you should someday realize that an opinion is not a "lie and fairytale".
