If Iran wants to avoid more retaliation, they simply need to stop attacking US troops and allies, stop committing terrorist acts and stop supporting terrorist groups globally. And they need to accept they'll never be allowed to have nuclear weapons. If they do this, they could be an economic power and provide a great quality of life for their people.
