You really need to learn to look at the big picture. 1. There's about 700,000 cops in our country. Each year, about 2,000 are charged with serious crimes or receive serious discipline (such as the cop in this story). That means about 99.8% of cops don't have any serious issues. 2. There's over 10 million arrest-related activities by cops each year. Using the above stat, about 99.99% occur without issues or charges to officers. People are hating all cops over the actions of .02% of cops, and losing their minds over .0001% of arrests that go wrong.

Anti Socialite ..I always assume people know how to do google searches. It's good you're interested in the real numbers on cops. There's clearly too many people who've fallen for the lies from Democrats, media and domestic terrorist groups like BLM. @krisfenton6113 ...I'm looking at the big picture. If you have a concern with our justice system or police-oversight laws, that's a different discussion. And if you assume the 2,000 number is too low...just change it to 20,000 out of 700,000. It would still be ludicrous to riot in the streets and/or think there's a systemic problem.

@krisfenton6113 ...Actually, I exaggerated the 2,000 number...it's really only about 1,200. And it's highly illogical (and biased) to assume people are guilty if they've been proven not guilty in a court of law, or through formal police-disciplinary processes. And it's even more illogical to assume that a "decent chunk" of the rest of cops have knowledge they're not sharing. Bottom line, your comment is proof of the massive bias and misconceptions against cops in our country. Worse, you're making assumptions with zero data to back it up. I encourage you to look at the facts and data, and realize 99.8 % of cops can accurately deemed 'good cops". Thanks for the chat, have a good one.
