  1. You're right that many news trending videos are biased and constantly use quotes and information out of context. Many also regularly lie-by-omission and spread blatant propaganda. CNN is the king of this approach (particularly on anything Trump related) but all other news outlets are guilty to some extent. Smart people know to research issues and get full context. And smart people know to take comment sections with a lot of skepticism. Regarding this video, I think the context was reasonably presented. Omar was glib and insensitive on a very serious topic for Americans (terrorism and 9/11). She has to learn to think before talking. She may think certain jokes are ok, but she crossed the line in this case. And her previous "reprehensible" (Schumer's word) bigoted and anti-American comments means she already has bad reputation. And let's face it, AOC's race-baiting and clueless perspective made the whole situation worse.

  2. As a non-supporter, that's a refreshing perspective. She needs to learn to think before talking. She's already had to formally apologize once for clueless comments. She hurts the Dems with these types of incidents. And AOC only made it worse with race-baiting and other ridiculous perspectives.
