@scottgillam2566 ..Correction. He was a real guy. A Jew living in the middle east. What isn't real is the whole virgin birth, son-of-God, miracles, resurrection crap.

@scottgillam2566 ..I agree the Jesus character is a fictional figure copied from previous myths and used for control. But there's strong archaeological evidence he was a real man, as another comment in this section cites. Why this particular Jew became the face of the Christian cult remains a huge mystery. Whenever I discuss the God delusion and the scourge of religion with believers, I always acknowledge there's some historical facts sprinkled into their fictional stories.

The headline could be: "Stupidity: Iran rejects diplomacy".

fafar gol ..Which has nothing to do with the need for Iran to take a diplomatic approach. It will not end well for them if they continue to defy UN sanctions. As Trump has said repeatedly, they could be a very strong country economically if they simply realize they can never have nuclear weapons.

fafar gol ..This tension isn't just the US and Iran. It's important to remember there are UN sanctions against Iran. Hence the UK seizing a tanker breaking those sanctions. Let's bottom line this chat....I have one simple question for you: Do you agree Iran can never have nuclear weapons? If no, please explain why you think they need them?

fafar gol ..While they may have stated as such their actions are contradictory. For example, threatening to surpass their enriched uranium limits and other rhetoric. We are in complete agreement on the end goal of this whole situation: Iran can never have nuclear weapons. Now, if only they'd admit it, dismantle their entire enrichment infrastructure, and allow UN inspectors to confirm. They'd then get the crippling sanctions lifted and go on to be an economic power. It's so simple.
