1:03: Watch the light. The car had good speed and was past the stop line at yellow. They had a choice of locking up the brakes and stopping in the intersection or finishing their turn. Weak ticket.

@ITBOILSMYBLOOD …You’re right and it’s why they got a ticket. I’m just saying it was a very weak one. They really had no choice but to finish the turn. The other option was slamming on the breaks and stopping in the intersection.

@ITBOILSMYBLOOD …We disagree they had “plenty of time to stop”. If they slammed the brakes when the light went yellow they’d have stopped in the intersection. And I don’t know of any state that prohibits being in an intersection on a yellow. It’s not “racing the yellow” and you won’t get a ticket as long as your full vehicle is beyond the stop line, and you’re not speeding of course.
