  1. A zipper merge is the most efficient way to keep traffic moving when 2 lanes become one. Both the trucker and the cammer don’t seem to realize this. There should be big signs miles from the pinch point telling people to zipper merge to avoid this kind of situation.

  3.  BuckeyeBob  …Lol, for once you and I are in full agreement! I also mentioned the benefit of the “zipper merge”. It’s the best way to deal with the situation shown in the clip but both the trucker and the cammer don’t realize it.

  4.  BuckeyeBob  ..What I meant is that the cammer didn’t mention anything about the zipper merge in his written comments. He just complained about the trucker (and rightfully so). If he understood the benefits of the zipper merge he would’ve mentioned it.

  5.  @77Infidel  …There’s a few people in this area who are pointing out the trucker is wrong. Partly because he pulled an idiotic illegal blocking move, and partly because he clearly doesn’t understand the effectiveness of a zipper merge.
