  2.  @xczechr  ..Key words '"if no cars are coming". That's rarely the case, as demonstrated by how many clips we see of accidents from this scenario. If no cars are coming they can wait 30 seconds for me and the rest of traffic to get out of the way and will then be able to safely make their move. I hope you're not one of those people who creates these gaps trying to be nice and thereby puts others at risk. By the way, if the person trying to merge just wants to get in front of me in the curb lane I'll leave a gap and let them in. But never if theyre wanting to cut across multiple lanes like shown in the clip.
