As you mention, the mortality rate is now less than 1%. For healthy people, it's not much different from getting the flu. 3. Only 7% of the deaths attributed to Covid thus far have it listed as the "only cause". In other words, there were other underlying health factors for the other 93%. 4. He is responsible for much of the division in the country with his lies, incompetence, identity politics, victimhood and treasonous activities. He also killed 4 Americans with drone strikes, deported millions, put kids in cages, and was directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Syrian women and children due to a fake "red line in the sand". I could go on. But that's a short summary to explain the dislikes.

  13. It's a day to be thankful: 1. Over 12 million people have recovered from Covid. 2. Overall hospitalization rate is still only about 2%. 3. The mortality rate continues to drop, and there's 13 countries with a worse rate than ours. 4. If you don't have underlying health conditions (including smokers and the obese), your chances of dying are less than 1% and not dissimilar to the flu. 5. There's a lot to be said for herd immunity. Some people are trying to argue the ridiculous spending you mention is "different" because it's in the overall government spending part of the Bill rather than the specific Covid portion.   21. People are protesting based on a "systemic" problem of police brutality or racism. The facts don't support such a claim. 1. 99.9% of the approx. 900,000 cops in the country are never charged with crimes. 2. 99.9999% of cop arrests (such as George Floyd's) occur without charges for criminally excessive force or murder. People are protesting based on .1% of cops and .0001% of arrests. It's a perfect example of emotion overtaking logic.

It'd be great if America was an island nation of 5 million people like New Zealand, where it's FAR easier to lockdown and control the spread than our country of over 330 million. We have cities with larger populations than your country. As well, while the number of cases are going up, the mortality rate is dropping. Moreover, there's currently 13 countries with a worse mortality rate than America. Lastly, it's important to remind people the VAST majority of deaths and hospitalizations are people with underlying health conditions.

Speaking of long memories...I've been reminding Democrats and Trump haters that the Democrat's abuse of Congressional powers with a 100% partisan impeachment means they can never complain if a future Republican-majority House does the exact same thing to a Democrat President. The Dems were warned by Constitutional lawyers to be very careful how they use their impeachment powers in terms of history (there had never been been a 100% partisan impeachment). Clearly Pelosi wasn't listening.
