A few Covid facts you won't hear from media (source below): 1. Of the deaths officially attributed to Covid thus far, about 48,000 were people who also had pneumonia. 2. The mortality rate is now less than 1%. 3. Only 7% of the deaths attributed to Covid thus far have it listed as the "only cause". In other words, there were other underlying health factors for the other 93%. 4. Weekly deaths have been falling like a stone since mid April. The number of cases is only part of the story. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm

@mgomez34 ..A lot of Trump haters will see irony in your comment. Among the many media and Democrat lies on his response to Covid, they accuse him of defunding the CDC. He never did. He wanted to adjust their budget long before knowing about Covid, but it never happened.

Here's a few other facts you won't hear media talking about (source below): 1. Of the deaths officially attributed to Covid thus far, about 48,000 were people who also had pneumonia. 2. As you mention, the mortality rate is now less than 1%. For healthy people, it's not much different from getting the flu.

@ampersand08 ...Try to look at the big picture. Over 1.2 million people have died in America since Feb. 1....from countless different causes. The data is in the table of the link I provided. Covid deaths are tragic...as are all other deaths.

@jake marlow ..Good info. And it's odd that you'd think I wouldn't like it. It helps validate the info I provided. Particularly the data on flu deaths that can be deemed "only flu" (see point #3). The main reason for my comment is to get people to stop taking media reports as the whole story and educate themselves. It's important to look at the big picture and drill into the facts and data. You're the least of my concerns. Keep up the good work.
