  1. The last pandemic 10 years ago had 60 million cases, in our country alone. And the mortality rate for Covid is now less than 1%, which isn't much different from H1N1 (or the flu and pneumonia). One more dose of reality: Only 7% of deaths attributed to Covid thus far have it listed as the "only cause". The other 93% were people with underlying health conditions. (source for data: CDC)

  2.  @SpeedOfDarknesss  ..Fair points. My goal is for people to look at the big picture so saying "isn't much different" can be taken however you want. I also think it's illogical to ever say something is "25 X worse" when we're talking about tenths of percentage points. That's the type of crap you hear on CNN, CNBC, or other fear mongering media. You're actually doing research on facts and data so you're the least of my concerns. Keep up the good work.
