  1. A quick check on Burkina Faso indicates it's a francophone country so it makes more sense why this couple would travel there. But I wouldn't put countries whose government is in power due to a rebellion on my list of places to visit. Aside from that, there's far worse countries in Africa to visit from a security perspective. Let's hope this is all a mistake or misunderstanding.
