  1. I think Ford is tapping into the same base as Trump. People are fed up with bloated governments, redundancy, bureaucracy, and over-regulation. The various arguments from the "right" and "left" are irrelevant. As are the red-herring "Charter" arguments. The core question is simple: Do you think Toronto's council can be effective with half the members?
