Trump and the White House sent a clear message they're not going to tolerate grandstanding, disrespect and abuse. Watch Acosta's approach change. I call it a win for Trump.

Actually I see the whole affair a great win for the White House and Trump. They've made it clear that it's unacceptable for members of the press to be abusive and disrespectful. I'll bet Acosta (and all other members of the press) never again tries to grandstand or refuse to yield the floor. Mission accomplished.

I see it as a win for Trump and the White House. They sent a clear message behavior such as Acosta's won't be tolerated. And I bet he stops the grandstanding, abuse and blatant disrespect.

Why make two of the same comment. Regardless, I'll repeat my previous reply. Trump and the White House sent a clear message they won't tolerate the press grandstanding and being abusive and disrespectful (to them, or other press). Watch Acosta's behavior change significantly. I call it a win for Trump.

Actually this was a great win for Trump and the White House. They sent a clear message that behavior such as Acosta's is unacceptable. And a Judge referred to future codes of conduct. You'll never see Acosta (or any other member of the press) grandstanding and being abusive and disrespectful again. That's Trump and the White House losing a battle... but winning the war.

@jchan9761 Let's see if Acosta ever refuses to give up the mike again. Or tries to make statements rather than ask questions. Or disrespects the President when he answers the question and wants to move on. I'm betting never. That's why I see the whole affair as a win for the White House and Trump.

@iro6758 Again, I think Trump and the White House sent a clear message to Acosta and all press that grandstanding, abuse and disrespect won't be tolerated. Just watch Acosta's behavior change.

@jchan9761 Aside from changing Acosta's behavior, the White House now has a judge ruling that mentions 'code of conduct' for press. This is an excellent outcome. All press are aware their future actions will be closely scrutinized (especially CNN and Acosta). It's been make clear they can't grandstand, be abusive, and/or disrespect whoever is holding the conference. A great win for the White House.

Actually the whole incident was a win for Trump and the White House. They may have lost the battle but it was a great step to winning the war. Acosta and all press have been put on notice that grandstanding, abuse and disrespect won't be acceptable. There's a code of conduct they must follow. Trump and Sanders have forever changed the behavior of the press. That's a win.

@salmonline Not sure why you're resorting to insults. I'm simply saying I think Trump and the White House sent an excellent message to Acosta (and all press) that such behavior won't be tolerated.
