It's the same God (you might as well say "Allah" instead of God) and was preceded by hundreds of other fictional stories of Gods and prophets in human history. Therefore, I understand where you're coming from. The fictional books for the cults of your God story (Bible, Koran) are filled with hate, murder, genocide, slavery, child abuse, subjugation of women, and vengeance. So it's no wonder you think the way you do. You have my sympathies.
