And on the topic at hand, Iran could be an economic power with a great quality of life for their people with two simple actions: 1. Acknowledge they'll never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. 2. End all support for global terrorism and religious wars. It's really that simple.

  2.  eldim1313 ...Let's not forget that Saudi Arabia is a major US ally. And I bet they'd love for Iran to be stupid enough to start something, since their military is superior in every way. As well, Turkey is a major NATO ally who has been fighting Iran-backed terrorism alongside America. And let's not forget about all the European countries who stand united with America against Iran's terrorist regime. And you're wrong. Iran could absolutely be an economic power if they accepted the reality of the situation. It's not just America who will keep Iran in their place...it's NATO and many other UN countries who've imposed the sanctions. It's a global effort to ensure they never get a nuclear weapon and attack Israel and the West.

  4.  @RioX001 ..Let's be clear. No one wants war...including Trump, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Europe, NATO, etc. But Iran now knows they're not dealing with Obama's weakness. Trump put a line in the sand with Iran when they hijacked ships and shot down our drone. He said if they kill an American, the response will be different. Fast forward to Iran attacking a US base and killing an American. An act of war, So it's bye bye terrorist General Sulamani. Bottom line, Iran would be very smart to step back and accept the reality of the situation. They'll NEVER be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. And there's another line in the sand. Iran has 52 reasons not to cross it.
