  1. Praise? That's a CNN click bait word. Trump was simply being polite, as any leader would be with friends, or even enemies. He said they're friends that go a long way back (true) and Erdogan was doing great things for the "people of Turkey" (also true). As well, he correctly pointed out there's many happy Kurds in Turkey (about 20 million in fact). No mention of Syria in those words of "praise".

  3.  @0.1.feb.  ..My point is that you said "imagine how the Kurds would feel". I encourage you to be clear as to which group you're talking about. There's FAR more Kurds living in Turkey than Syria. And I'll bet many would disagree with your claim that Turkey's action in Syria is a "catastrophe". For example, do some research on the Kudish terrorist groups that have been an issue on Turkey's southern border for many years. This research will also reveal these terrorist groups have also been condemned by other countries and the UN.
