Few are talking about a key reason Canada could be seen as a security threat: 1. It has allowed DOZENS of ISIS jihadists who fought in the middle east to return to Canada.. simply because they hold a Canadian passport. 2. It's weak, selfie-Prime Minister (Trudeau) paid $10 million to a terrorist who killed a US soldier for his 'suffering' in Guantanamo. 3. Canada is currently welcoming THOUSANDS of "refugees" from the US. ...Many of whom are undocumented and/or were denied US citizenship and set to be deported. (I could go on) Canada isn't just the land-of-the-polite. It could be argued its weak national security/border policies and perplexing support for terrorists puts the national security of the US at risk.

Derpmaster, It appears you disagree with something I've said. It would be helpful if you explained why.

Dylan, 1. It's illogical to suggest everything's fine with Canada's current immigration/border policies based on whether or not there's been a terror attack. 2. Canada has had a number of terror attacks in the past few years. (google for all the details). Important question: Do you support allowing Jihadists who fought for ISIS to return to Canada?

If Canada is such a "friend": 1. Why did its current government pull troops and aircraft out of the war on ISIS? (which put more pressure on the US and other NATO allies to win the war) 2. Why should the US stand by while Canada's protectionist trade policies (i.e. on dairy, lumber, Bombardier, etc) create a false-market and unfair advantage that is not in the spirit of NAFTA? 3. Why has Canada allowed dozens of ISIS Jihadists to return to the country after fighting in the middle east? (just because they have a Canadian passport). Which puts the US national security at risk. 4. Please explain why Canada is accepting thousands of undocumented "refugees" who were set to be deported from the US? 5. Why would the Canadian Prime Minister pay $10 million to a terrorist who killed a US soldier? Apparently for his 'suffering' in guantamo. Just a few examples/questions among many.

Diggs4ever....The Canadian dollar is worth less than 80 cents in the US. Your Liberal Government's economic policies (particularly with regards to energy) have contributed to its demise. You're wise to not take your weak dollar to the US.

You make many good points. We could discuss these important issues forever. The discussion would always be based on perspective and bias (which is ok). I'll leave you with some constructive feedback: 1. Please review your original comment. Ask yourself why you're so alarmist. And why you're parroting standard anti-Trump rhetoric. 2. Review your other comment in this section. You know, where you parrot the delusional Hitler comparison with regards to Trump. Then ask yourself...why would someone who has such a good perspective and understanding of important issues (you) resort to such illogical references. Keep up the good work understanding the important issues.

I'll say the opposite: The US should bear with the Liberal, huggy, selfie, clueless leader of Canada until he loses the next election in a landslide for utter incompetence.

The British were ruling at that time and they eventually became Canada. It's a logical reference.
