Comments by "Hugh Jorgan" (@HughJorgan1) on "GOP lawmaker on quid pro quo: It's serious and troubling" video.
If you don't think there's massive quid pro quo in foreign policy you haven't been paying attention. For example, this whole UKraine issue re-exposed Biden's billion dollar quid pro quo (which he admitted). Funny how that little fact is getting glossed over.

@kevinkliegl9315 ..Insults and ad-hominem are a waste of words. What's your opinion on Biden's admitted quid pro quo? (Be sure to explain in the context of Trump wanting the Ukraine to investigate corruption in the 2016 election)

He speaks the truth. For example, CNN should be using Biden's billion-dollar quid pro quo with the Ukraine as a great example of what Mulvany was referring to.

@jockyoung4491 ..Please explain the specific laws Trump broke?

@theblade9024 .."Please explain the laws Trump has not broken?". Nope, that's not how it works. The burden of proof is on those making the accusation. So I repeat...what are the specific laws Trump broke by asking the Ukraine to investigate corruption in the 2016 election (DNC servers, etc) as a quid pro quo for military aid?

@wills8850 ..So, you're admitting there was quid pro quo and Biden was involved. That's the point I'm making. Thanks.

Mr. Thomas .."Insults and ad-hominem are a waste of words. What's your opinion on Biden's admitted quid pro quo? Be sure to explain in the context of Trump wanting the Ukraine to investigate corruption in the 2016 election" (This is a copy-paste of another reply I made in this section. I look forward to your answer to my question. Still waiting for the other guy)

@jockyoung4491 ..You're 100% correct. Biden's blatant quid pro quo with the Ukraine wasn't illegal. That's my point. Trump simply wanted the Ukraine to help investigate corruption, both in the 2016 election and with Biden's son. As is expected between tow allies. In other words, if Trump is impeached for doing exactly what Biden admitted to, the massive hypocrisy of the Dems would be once again confirmed.

@Madmax23419 ..The point I'm making is that there's no "Kurdish side" to the border. It's Northern Syria. As I said, I could have used a better word than "guests". There's a lot of emotional responses to this fact. I fully understand the history of the region and the very complex geo-political issues. But it doesn't change the fact we're talking about Northern Syria. Not "Kurdistan" nor a Kurdish state of any kind. Maybe that will come from this whole mess, but who knows. It also appears many in this section have missed a critical point I made: There's over 15 million ethnic Kurds living in Turkey...as citizens. Bottom line, Syria and the middle east in general will likely be having wars and conflicts for the forseeable future. It's quite sad really.

I remain fascinated CNN hasn't mentioned Biden's billion-dollar quid pro quo with the Ukraine. It's a perfect example of what Mulvany was referring to vis a vis foreign policy. Heck, it's something Biden gleefully admitted doing. One would think CNN would be reminding viewers so they have full context.

@DL-ke1io ...The topic is quid pro quo in foreign policy. It's what the whole Ukraine issue is about. Therefore, Biden admitting to quid pro quo in foreign policy with the Ukraine is 100% on topic.

Rhetorical or not, there's no "Kurdish side". It's Syria. The Kurds are guests.
1
Tom Towers ..Hopefully you understand what I meant. The Kurds aren't Syrian citizens. Unlike, for example, the over 15 million ethnic Kurds living in Turkey as citizens. (who apparently support Turkeys actions, btw). I'm simply educating people there's no "Kurdish side" of the border.

@hannyhawkins7804 ..I should have used a better word than "guests". Please see all my comments for the point I'm making.

@007liammurphy ..Brace yourself. There's many in this section who wish they could rewrite the history of the middle east.
