Comments by "Hugh Jorgan" (@HughJorgan1) on "Jerry Nadler: Impeachment would be a guilty verdict in 'three minutes flat'" video.
That's a very good description of a 100% partisan impeachment (Clinton's was bi-partisan). The Democrat's will forever lower the bar for impeachment and expose all future Presidents (Dem and Republican) to partisan politics and political games.

@ciscozerratano7316 ..Well said. And I think Turley's speech should be required viewing for every Democrat supporter or anyone who remotely thinks this impeachment is a good idea for the country. The fact he's a Democrat and didn't vote for Trump makes what he said even more powerful. Bottom line, Trump asked for corruption to be investigated (as per international agreements) and delayed foreign aid. As Turley suggested, there's been zero evidence provided to definitively link the two actions and/or set the bar for a high crime, as intended by the Constitution. Not to mention Biden did exactly what Trump's accused of. The Democrat's hypocrisy knows no bounds.

"Impeachment is the undoing of an election. We're angry because it rips our votes away"---Nadler in 1998. The Democrats are digging their grave and forever lowering the bar for impeachment to assumptions, hearsay, people's 'understanding' and implausible accusations of some high crime. Clinton's impeachment was bi-partisan. And despite the fact he committed perjury, witness tampering, and obstruction, 100% of Democrat Senators voted to keep him in office. Not only is there zero chance Trump gets removed from office, the Dems have helped solidify (and grow) his support for 2020. It's mind boggling incompetence..

Their ratings are in the tank after 3 years of incessant lies and propaganda. The vast majority of their viewers (and 90% of their Youtube comment sections) are people so filled with hate and anger, they need to be fed anti-Trump propaganda and bias 24/7. In other words TDS is an epidemic and CNN is the dealer. The good news is that support for Trump is stronger than ever and the Democrat's utter incompetence is ensuring a second term.

@joelbusald6416 ..Firstly, Obama isn't black. He's best described as mixed race or ethnic. Like Steph Curry, Colin Kapernick, Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter, Rashida Jones, Halle Berry...etc etc. And the Russia thing was over a long time ago. Despite this, the Democrats and CNN will try to keep it in the news. I guarantee you'll be hearing about it right up to the end of Trump's second term in 2024.

There's still a chance the Democrats realize they've got nothing and are walking right into Trump's trap. They can't be this dumb. If they are, I look forward to Schiff testifying under oath. That is only if he hasn't already been arrested for spying, since Nunes is taking legal action for Schiff illegally accessing his phone records. Not to mention how fun it would be to see Hunter Biden, the whistleblower (and his lawyer) testifying under oath.

@peterpain6625 ..A reply with nothing but insults and ad hominem means you agree with everything I said and/or are incapable of refuting my points. This fact is important for you to understand before ever replying to comments. But don't feel bad. This is a CNN comment section so comments like yours are par for the course.

Thad Dunkin ..Please see my comment immediately above.

@peterpain6625 ..The good news is you've now reached level 3 of the "7 Levels of Disagreement" (insults and ad hominem are levels 1 and 2). Level 4 if I'm being very generous. And if the principle of the 7 Levels of Disagreement is now being taught in preschool, I'm impressed. I encourage to try to get to the higher levels. Saying you refute my statements with no supporting argument is illogical. So...What specifically about my original comment do you disagree with, and why?
1
Thad Dunkin ..That's the lowest of the 7 levels of disagreement. I hate to be redundant, but it means you either agree with my original comment or are incapable of refuting it. So, thanks for confirming you agree with everything I said on the impeachment process. If you want to further confirm you agree with me, just reply to this comment with insults or ad hominem.

@peterpain6625 ..Wow. Someone smart enough (and old enough) to use old school emojis avoids a very simple question and can't present a valid argument to defend their opinion. I'm disappointed...:/ (And yes, I realize that was ad hominem)

Thad Dunkin ..Firstly, foreign aid is very complicated and almost always has something asked for in return. Whether it's a vote in the UN or support for a Trade deal or sanctions against another country. As Mulvaney said, "get over it". And the Democrat's claim that Trump asking for corruption to be investigated was for "personal gain" is a non starter. It's even more ridiculous than the "bribery" and "extortion" garbage. Secondly, I remind you that Trump has repeatedly (and correctly) asked China to investigate the Bidens. Is that also an impeachable offense? The Democrats overreached and will get slaughtered in the Senate. Clinton's impeachment was bi partisan and yet 100% of Democrat Senators voted for him to remain in office. In other words, there's zero chance Trump gets removed. I trust you understand this fact. Lastly, I assume you must think that Biden withholding aid to the Ukraine was a quid pro quo (it's the definition) Therefore, I hope you understand that if Trump is found guilty of the ridiculous charge, Biden's investigation will surely be re-opened.

Thad Dunkin ..And good job achieving Level 4 (Contradiction) of the 7 levels of disagreement.
1
Thad Dunkin ..Disappointing. All you needed to do to reach Level 5 and 6 (Counterargument and Refutation) was to present a valid argument in support of the the Democrat's charges using facts and evidence. And/or answer why what Trump did is a quid pro quo but Biden's actions weren't. (it's actually smart of you not to try). The important takeaway from our chat is threefold: 1. If the Democrats are dumb enough to impeach, they're opening themselves up to criminal charges and treason in the Senate. 2. Trump will still be President once the partisan circus is over. Clinton committed some of the worst possible crimes for a President (perjury, witness tampering and obstruction) yet 100% of Democrat Senators voted he remain in office. Trump isn't going anywhere. 3. All the Democrats have accomplished is to embarrass themselves, forever lower the bar for impeachment, and drive more support to Trump for a second term. Thanks for the chat.
