I think we can all agree on one thing: There's a large percentage of voters who've already decided who they'll be voting for... and they won't change their mind based on media lies and propaganda. For both sides. Nor will they change their mind based on what they read in comment sections. And they'll certainly not change their mind based on opinions from partisan, biased "experts" that media will be trotting out daily for the next 2 months. Let's just agree on that one thing?

@Loic Pais ...That's more useless ad hominem, and completely unrelated to the point I made in my original comment. Try again.

@Loic Pais ..We're close to figuring out where you stand. Let's try one more time: Do you think at this point in the election process anyone will change their vote based on what they see on media, in comment sections, or what "experts" are saying?

@Loic Pais ..Thanks for finally providing clarity on your opinion. You're saying you disagree with my original comment, and think people will change their vote based on what they see on media. We disagree, for all the reasons I've mentioned. And we could have avoided this long chat if you'd simply addressed my central point/opinion in the original comment. Unfortunately, it took about 6 comments for you to finally offer a valid counterargument. Please reflect on ways you could have been more efficient in our chat. Have a good one.

@Loic Pais ..You appear to disagree with my comment. There's '7 Levels of Disagreement'. (Google in Images for a concise description). The bottom 2 Levels are using insults and ad hominem (your comment) which are completely useless. So...try again. Try to achieve at least Level 5, Counterargument.

@Loic Pais ..And please read my original comment again. Note that I qualified my point on "media lies and propaganda" by making it clear it comes from "both sides".

@Loic Pais ..We're getting there. My original comment is indeed an opinion. So...Do you agree there's many people who've already made up their minds on who they'll vote for, and they won't be swayed by media, comments, or partisan "experts"? It's kind of a yes/no question.. but I'd be curious if you agree with my theory? If no, why not?

@SMS9155 ..Thanks for the laugh! I needed that. I trust you're being sarcastic.

Trump announces cure for cancer. CNN: "Trump ignores heart disease".

@JM-co6rf ..I get a little misty when I see people mentioning ad hominem. Well done. It's the second biggest issue in comment sections, after insults. More people need to realize ad hominem is a useless way to make a point. Those people (Pete Haward) need to Google "7 Levels of Disagreement", and learn it's only Level 2. A smart person tries to achieve at least Level 5 (Counterargument) when debating or disagreeing with others.

DTRAX33...Well said. It's important to educate people on the facts.

@anubys7540 ..Please read the details on Blake in the original comment again. While the full investigation is still ongoing, we know Blake was a criminal who resisted arrest. If he wasn't a criminal, he wouldn't have been shot. If he didn't resist arrest, he wouldn't have been shot.

@anubys7540 ..I saw a letter from the Police Union in Las Vegas regarding their disappointment with professional athletes protesting for Blake. Read the letter (link below) and you'll get a great perspective on Blake's arrest situation through the eyes of the police. https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/goldenknights/police-union-criticizes-knights-for-supporting-jacob-blake-2107709/?itm_source=parsely-api

@anubys7540 ..You make good points. And the investigation is still ongoing, so we'll have to wait for details on the weapon. I just think it's important people look at all aspects of the discussion on Blake's arrest. You're doing that, so kudos. The Police Union letter makes it clear we need to wait for all the details. Regardless of those details, my opinion stands: Blake wouldn't have been shot if he wasn't a criminal who resisted arrest. Just imagine how easy it is for those getting arrested to comply.

@anubys7540 ..Again, you make good points. And as I said, I think it very important to look at what happened prior to the shooting. This is where we get into 'probable cause", and the possible scenarios noted in the Police Union letter. For example, Blake had committed a crime, resisted arrest, and had been tazed (twice I believe). Was it reasonable for officers to think he was a threat to their life, or the lives of others? It will be a while before we get answers to these questions. And I disagree that we'll "only get one side of this". Like Floyd's arrest, there's going to be massive attention on the investigation. Again, I respect your opinion.
