Suffering? It appears you're getting your information strictly from CNN or Democrat propaganda. The country is doing excellent. And there's no "backstabbing". Trump's approach to China has support from key Democrat leaders. Even they know it has to be done.

@african-history-fountain ..All key Democrat candidates for the nomination know we have to be tough with China and say they'd keep the tariffs. Both Schumer and Pelosi have publically supported Trump's approach with China, and the tariffs. Even Democrat-leaning unions like the Teamsters support tariffs and Trump's approach to China. If you doubt this, just Google "Democrat support for Trump's China Tariffs" Pick your source, and you'll get facts.

Kirk Daniels ..Among the most ludicrous arguments against Trump’s massive accomplishments is saying they have anything to do with Obama. That was debunked years ago. It’s a CNN talking point that’s typical of their lies and propaganda. The many economic records are because Trump overturned Obama era policies and implemented countless new ones. For example, the corporate tax reforms that lit a rocket under investment and job growth. Or the new capital investment incentives that have companies investing in America rather than other countries. This has meant jobs and money for small businesses and infrastructure. And median middle class income is at the highest level in history. It’s grown by $ thousands more under Trump than Obama. If you wonder why Trump’s rally’s have so many people, look no further than that statistic. Obama led the worst recovery from recession in history (google it) and added 10 $Trillion to national debt creating a false economy. Because of this, he led the Democrats to decimation in the 2014 midterms and to Trump’s landslide electoral victory in 2016. Bottom line, the country is doing excellent, and would be doing even better if the Democrats did some real work for the people. For example, there’s bi partisan legislation like the new North American Trade deal and another that would lower prescription drug costs, but the Dems know they’ll help the economy get even stronger, and help all Americans. They can’t have that. It’ll be another major Trump accomplishment. The Dems are all about political games and hurting the country as much as possible leading up to 2020 Bottom line, I encourage people to learn facts and stop watching CNN. Trump’s done more for the country in 3 years than Obama in 8.

Short term pain for long term gain. Trump is doing the right thing with China. Even the Democrat's running for the nomination admit they wouldn't drop the tariffs. And Chuck Schumer is on Trump's side on China. Funny how CNN isn't reporting these facts.

NastyNate san..Whenever someone knows the other person is right they just use insults. Thanks for confirming you know we have to take China on with respect to trade. And you’d be wise to google “Democrat leaders who support Trumps China tariffs” before thinking he’s the only one who knows we just can’t keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

@neddelley8766 ..Actually, North Korea is a great example of the insanity quote. Obama's policy of isolation is what helped lead to their nuclear buildup. And Hillary kept the idiotic approach as Secretary of State. It destabalized the whole region and led to poor relations with Japan and South Korea. Trump started a dialogue with them, built up a relationship, and developed some level of trust. It's "keep your friends close, your enemies closer". And being the first sitting President in history to set foot in North Korea was key to this approach. That action will go down as one of the best legacies from his first term. At the same time he's maintained the crippling sanctions and made it clear they'll be annihilated if they're stupid enough to attack. Relations with Japan and South Korea are now excellent. And ask anyone in Hawaii if they feel safer under Trump than Obama (hint, they do). Again, Trump's approach to North Korea has been a perfect example of not doing the same old thing and expecting different results.

I also hope you did some research on all the Democrat leaders who support tariffs and Trump's work. Including Chuck Schumer, who's praised Trump taking on China. And including pretty much all the Democrat Presidential candidates, who've all said they'd keep the tariffs if elected. And since I'm educating you, take a look at my comment above regarding Trump's excellent work with North Korea. Facts are important. I'm glad you agree with all my points in this section.
