Yep. Apparently asking for corruption to be investigated, as per international agreements, is now an impeachable offense. And the Dems argument of a quid pro quo on foreign aid is a complete non starter when you consider how foreign aid works, and that Biden's corruption was an ACTUAL quid pro quo. One can only shake their head.

@Rob Van Trees...Then why did 31 Democrat members of Congress vote to impeach? That's rhetorical. They voted along with Republicans in a fully bi-partisan impeachment because Perjury (with a Grand Jury no less) is the ultimate betrayal of trust, integrity and every oath Clinton had taken. Moreover, do some research on the legal precedents for perjury and just how serious the offense is viewed by the law. What Clinton lied about is completely irrelevant. Those making such a case are being deliberately obtuse. More importantly, to impeach Trump for asking for corruption to be investigated and delaying foreign aid (the two are separate events) has NO chance of resulting in removal from office. I assume you're smart enough to realize this. All the Democrats have achieved with their political game is to forever lower the bar for impeachment and help strengthen Trump's support. In a bigly way.

Bruce Jones...We disagree there was anything impeachable in Trumps actions. But the Dems are going to do it anyway. It’s completely partisan and will forever lower the bar for future impeachments. However, I assume you understand there’s no chance Trump will be removed from office? Aside from no real crime, the Clinton precedent has impeachment dead on arrival. He committed one of the worst crimes possible for a President (perjury, with a Grand Jury no less) and was convicted of Obstruction, yet 100% of Democrat Senators voted to keep him in office. And it was despite the fact his impeachment was bi partisan, with 31 House Democrats voting with the Republicans. I’m just making sure you know Trump will still be President when the circus is over. And you should also realize his support has strengthened. The Dems have helped him for 2020.

@motm369 ..That's far from evidence. You appear to not understand what facts are. Let me reply one by one: 1. Not an argument. Not even close. 2. Not an argument. Trump's foreign policy successes are many, and he's strengthened our relationship with allies Obama drove away with incompetence (i.e. Japan, South Korea, Israel). 3. Trump's been incredibly hard on Russia. Supporting crippling sanctions for Crimea is just one example. As well, Trump is a "keep your friends close, your enemies closer" kind of leader. It appears you haven't figured this out yet. 4. You mean Syria. And we still have some troops there protecting assets. And remember that Russia and Turkey are also enemies of ISIS, so it's great they're helping out. And I encourage you to do some research on the complex geopolitical issues in the region, including Turkey's long battle with Syria-based Kurdish terrorist groups. And remember..there's about 20 million Kurds living in Turkey as citizens. 5. Trump has asked multiple countries to investigate corruption and the 2016 election, including China, Ukraine, Russia. So in summary, you've offered nothing to back up your claim that we're being controlled by Russia. You've only stated supposition, bias and proven you don't have any hard facts.

You understand that there's no chance Trump's removed from office, right? And that his support has actually gone up since the impeachment circus began, and will only get stronger if the Dems are dumb enough to do it. Please tell me you understand these salient facts.

@motm369 ..My apologies. I didn't realize you're not an American. You're just spouting stuff you've heard on CNN. You clearly don't understand that an impeachment doesn't remove a President from office. It occurs in Congress and a trial must take place in the Senate. For example, Clinton was impeached in a fully bi-partisan action (31 Democrats voted along with Republicans). Yet when it got to the Senate, 100% of Democrat Senators voted to keep him in office. Despite Clinton being convicted of Perjury and Obstruction of Justice. Compare that with the current process, which is completely partisan. The Democrats are dumb enough to impeach, but there's no chance the Senate will vote the 2/3s needed to remove Trump from office for asking that corruption be investigated. In the future, I encourage you educate yourself on facts before posting comments. And you may want to do some research on Trump Derangement Syndrome. You appear to be in Stage 4. And he's going to be around until 2025.
