The Democrat's demanded $100 million for the Kennedy Center ($25 M) and the National Endowment for the Arts ($75 M)....for a national emergency. That $100 million should be re-directed to small businesses and the urgent needs of the country.

@tmseh ...Thank you for showing an ability to have an adult discussion. It's very rare, particularly in a CNN comment section. My thumbs up for your comment is valid. We agree there's some GOP pork in the Stimulus Bill. But I've yet to find anything as ludicrous as the aforementioned $100 million for the Arts that the Democrats thought they could get by the American public. And we are in full agreement that the average citizen needs more support right now. Thanks for the chat, stay safe out there.

@pjwhite6829 ..Good points, but it's not the amount of money I'm concerned with, it's the principle. While I agree the Arts needs support, we're in a national emergency. Moreover, the workers you refer to are eligible for unemployment benefits and stimulus checks. It's all about prioritization. Small businesses and citizens need money FAR more than the Kennedy Center or the National Endowment for the Arts. Let's leave the discussion on money for illegals/undocumented for another time...points taken. Thanks for your ability to have an adult discussion. Stay safe out there.

California has created a false economy based on the use of millions of illegals/undocumented for low-paying jobs. But those illegals who work also pay taxes, estimated to be over a $Billion a year. I disagree with California's anti-American approach, but I also realize the vast majority of illegals are getting back their own money.
