The Dems are simply trying to drag out their circus for as long as possible. They don't have the votes for impeachment. They could be doing real work for the country but would rather play political games. But they're too stupid and corrupt to realize they're helping Trump and the GOP's chances in 2020 with every failure.

@ericrossoni ..The entire process is based on what was, at worst, poor judgement by Trump. I encourage you to read the entire transcript of the call. No direct quid pro quo, no threats. More importantly, the Dems don't have the votes for impeachment. We'll need to disagree that this whole circus is good for Americans. The Dem's are simply feeding false hope to their supporters that they can overturn 2016. That's basically all they've been doing for 3 years. First it was "Russia Collusion" and now it's impeachment. It's not going to happen. The sooner you realize that the happier you'll be.

Your make many good points. And you're right, the Dems don't have the votes. They're just playing political games to appease their supporters. It's all they've been doing for 3 years. I particularly liked your point about Trump continuing to set traps for the Dems...and they walk right into them. He's playing chess and they're playing checkers.

@ericrossoni ..I respect your view. And for someone who uses emojis on Youtube, I'm a bit shocked at your knowledge of the situation. Well done, my thumbs up is valid. That said, your first paragraph reveals the fundamental problem with the impeachment circus. Biden isn't a "political rival" in the context of what Trump asked the Ukraine to do. It was about rooting out curruption, which I remind you is a mutual agreement between the two countries. As I said, I think it was poor judgement for Trump to bring it up. But it's certainly not impeachable. Clinton lied to grand jury (far from "literally nothing") and Nixon committed a high crime. Apples and oranges. Again, I encourage you to come to the realization the Dems don't have the votes for impeachment. Americans will have a chance to vote their approval in 2020. And as it stands, I really like Trump's chances.
