  6. New Zealand is an island nation with a population less than the metropolitan New York area. And Canada's population is less than California. I find it mind boggling when people try to make country-to-country comparisons.

  7.  @frankfanning6341  ..Per capita is a good stat. But it can also be very misleading...for the reason I mention (total population). Again, it's ludicrous to compare NZ and Canada to America. Moreover, per capita data on Covid ignores a major factor in infections and deaths: population density.
