@G Bogart ..You're right, Trump has been impeached twice.
But it's important to put the impeachments into proper context.
1. Trump's first impeachment was from a 100% partisan vote in the House, the first in history. In fact, two Democrats voted against impeachment. In other words, Pelosi and the Democrats abused Congressional powers and took a crap on the Constitution.
Before you disagree, please remember that in the hearings a Constitutional lawyer warned the Democrats of how history would view a 100% partisan impeachment.
And I remind you that Pelosi said in 2017 (two years prior) that she "can't impeach Trump unless it's bipartisan".
She lied.
2. Trump's second impeachment was the first in history without investigations, hearings or witnesses in the House.
There's no way the Senate can condone the House ignoring the basic principles of justice.
Bottom line, regardless of what happens with the Senate vote, Trump's legacy is solid.
But both his impeachments will reflect very badly on the Democrats (and the legacy of Pelosi, Schiff, Shumer etc) for their abuse of power.
