Which is just one of the reasons Trump's 100% partisan impeachment is meaningless compared to Clinton's bi partisan impeachment. Heck, the Dem's case was so weak they couldn't even get all their own members to vote their way. Trump's legacy is solid. Clinton's isn't.

CNN, Pelosi and other idiot Dem leaders are trying really hard to spin their massive failure into something it isn't. Clinton's impeachment was bi-partisan and he was convicted of major crimes (including a felony) while Trump's 100% partisan impeachment doesn't involve a crime. This inconvenient truth really bugs Dem supporters. Trump's impeachment will go down in history as nothing more than partisan politics and the Democrats abusing Congressional powers in a lame attempt to influence an election.

Shiroi Ryu ....I know facts are very upsetting to Democrats. But it's important you accept that Trump's impeachment is meaningless, particularly when compared to Clinton's. Perjury is a felony. And what Clinton lied about is completely irrelevant. He broke TWO oaths when he lied to the Grand Jury. As well, Clinton's witness tampering, breach of trust, and Obstruction of Justice should tell you why his impeachment was bi partisan from start to finish. Conversely, Trump's impeachment was 100% partisan throughout and isn't based on a crime, no matter what you might think. By the way, I laughed out loud at you calling it "blackmail". Funny how that ludicrous charge didn't end up in the two Articles of Impeachment hey? Trump simply leveraged his Constitutional Separation of Power and asked a foreign country to investigate corruption, as per international agreements. It's best you start accepting facts. Trump's impeachment will go down in history as meaningless. All the Democrats have accomplished by abusing Congressional powers and spitting on the Constitution is help ensure Trump gets a second term.

imemine7...Congratulations, you succeeded where many have failed in this section. When I’m educating Democrats, I usually put one incorrect or exaggerated detail amongst many facts. A smart person will find the mistake, and an even smarter person will point it out without resorting to insults or ad hominem. You accomplished both. Clinton wasn’t convicted in the Senate. His bi partisan impeachment (Trump’s is partisan) was for perjury (a felony) and obstruction of justice, but the Senate didn’t convict. Votes were pretty much along party lines. So good catch. However, everything else I stated regarding the huge differences between Trump’s and Clinton’s impeachments are facts....and inconvenient truths for Dems. History will look very differently on them. There’s not only zero chance Trump gets removed from office, but his legacy will remain solid. Particularly when he gets his second term. Regarding the GAO saying Trump broke the law by withholding the funds, that’s being disputed. Moreover, it’s far too late to be included in the Senate trial. It’s just another huge Democrat mistake in their flawed, rushed circus. Again, good job with your comment. While others were busy calling me a “Trumptard” (etc), you focused on the topic, didn’t lob insults, and made some good points. My thumbs up for your comment is valid.
