Perjury with a Grand Jury isn't just a "lie about a blowjob". It's one of the worst crimes possible for a President. And despite this crime (and Obstruction of Justice), 100% of Democrat Senators voted to keep Clinton in office. In other words, there's zero chance Trump is removed. The sooner Democrats realize this the better.

Why are the Democrats continuing the circus? We all know they will vote to impeach. Regardless of facts, evidence or logic. Heck, another Dem leader just let it slip...Kamala Harris said to Trump yesterday: "See you at the trial." (in the Senate) The Dems should stop wasting time and money, vote to impeach, and then get slaughtered in the Senate. But I guess we all owe them thanks for helping drive support for KAG 2020!

@MrSoggyjocks ..I respect that you replied to my comment among all the noise in this section. Good job. I'm glad you agree that perjury is serious. But we'll have to disagree that what Clinton lied about is remotely relevant. In fact, because it was just to hide an affair makes it even worse. It showed a complete lack of trust, integrity and character. Not to mention breaking every oath he'd made. And yet, 100% of Democrat Senators thought he should remain in office. More important to our discussion, you're making assumptions on what Trump MAY be convicted of. There's no evidence thus far to meet the burden of proof for "treason", "bribery", "extortion", or any other of the allegations. In my opinion. And despite what the Democrats are claiming. Bottom line, the Democrats already decided they'd impeach Trump, regardless of facts an logic. They're continuing the inquiry circus to grandstand for their base. But again, there's no chance the Senate will remove Trump from office. I find it mind boggling there's still some who think it'll happen.

The reason is Perjury is one of the worst crimes possible for a President. It's a complete violation of trust and integrity. What Clinton lied about is completely irrelevant. Clinton's impeachment was bi-partisan, unlike the current Democrat circus. Bottom line, there's no way Trump is removed and all the Dems have done is cement his support and help him for 2020.

@paulkern7229 ..Fair points and it's always refreshing to read comments devoid of insults or ad hominem. It's rare in a CNN comment section. We disagree that Trump asking for corruption to be investigated and delaying foreign aid (two separate events) is even close to an impeachable offense, let alone a betrayal of trust or integrity. Not even remotely close. And I'm not the least bit worried about poll data. Support for Trump is rock solid and the Democrat's circus has only helped him for 2020. They've also forever lowered the bar for impeachment and made completely partisan coup attempts acceptable to their base. I find it perplexing how many Dem supporters don't see this fact. After Trump's second term is over and Ivanka or Don Jr complete their 8 years, the next Democrat President best watch out for a partisan impeachment based on hearsay, assumptions, people's "understanding", and wild accusations of some massive crime. (The Ivanka/Don. Jr point is just to see if you read comments thoroughly) Bottom line, we disagree 100% that what Clinton lied about is remotely relevant.
