No rational person thinks a bunch of idiots (one wearing horns) we’re trying to overthrow the government of the most powerful nation on earth. They’re just trying to keep “orange man bad” going for as long as possible. It’s all about the 2022 midterms and 2024.

In fact, the Democrats couldn’t even get all their own members to go along with the scam as 2 voted against impeachment. Bet you didn’t know that. Pelosi had said in 2017 “We can’t impeach Trump unless it’s bipartisan”. She knew history would view such a vote as Abuse of Congressional powers and against the Constitution. She was right. Trump’s second impeachment was the first in history without hearings or witnesses at the House level. The Democrats were then slaughtered with facts in the Senate. Utter debacles. And Pelosi and Schiff have forever lowered the bar for impeachment. Don’t get upset future if a future Republican-majority House conducts a 100% partisan impeachment of a Democrat President or one with no hearings or witnesses at the House level.

  5.  @Raptoraddict6610  …I disagree. Trump made mistakes but was an excellent President overall. Certainly better than the debacle known as the Biden administration. And while you’re basing your opinion on emotion (your hate of Trump) all I’ve done is cite facts regarding the impeachments. You can try to deflect but the inconvenient truths for Democrats and Trump haters will never change: 1. Pelosi knew history would view a 100% partisan impeachment of a President as massive abuse of Congressional powers, hence her 2017 comment. 2. Moreover, Congressional lawyers repeatedly warned the Democrats of proceeding with an impeachment of a Republican President that wasn’t based on crimes. As a comparison, look at the bipartisan impeachment of Bill Clinton, which was based on the major crimes of Perjury (a felony), Witness Tampering, and Obstruction of Justice. 3. The fact that a couple House Democrats voted AGAINST impeachment should tell you the level of lies that were exposed in the hearings, particularly the fact there was zero evidence tying Trump’s phone call to the delay in military aid. 4. Trump’s second impeachment (while bipartisan) had no investigations, hearings or witnesses at the House level. This was a major affront to Justice. Democrats were warned but went ahead anyway, which forever set another very dangerous precedent (the other being a 100% partisan impeachment). 5. It’s worth repeating: Democrat voters like you can now NEVER get upset if a future Republican majority House conducts a 100% partisan impeachment of a Democrat President or one without hearings or investigations at the House level. Think about that. Bottom line, you can hate Trump all you want and can try to bring up the impeachments as a bad thing for his legacy. But just make sure you’re looking at the facts and big picture.

I also try to get them to look at the big picture. You asked me why I thought the impeachments were ‘debacles’ and I took the opportunity to provide you with important facts. And based on your responses, I now know you were unaware of the facts I mentioned. And it’s clear you aren’t looking at things in the big picture (ie the Democrats egregious Abuse of Congressional powers). So…I’m glad to have educated you. I trust you’ll now think twice about ever criticizing Trump for the impeachments (neither of which involved any broken laws). And I trust you’ll never complain if a future Republican majority house abuses Congressional powers and craps on the Constitution like the Democrats did. Don’t get me wrong, I hope that never happens. Republican leaders must never lowers themselves to the level of lying Pelosi, Schiff and Schumer.
