Pop Quiz. Using the benefit of hindsight on the Covid crisis, what's worse between the following two actions: 1. Saying the virus would eventually disappear, 15 cases would become zero, and the country will be open by Easter. 2. Putting Covid-positive seniors back into nursing homes.

@emilsinclair4190 ...I agree 100% that Trump could've chosen his words better early in the crisis. But as I said..that's using the benefit of hindsight. No one could've predicted the extent of the crisis. Trump later admitted his goal early in the crisis was to "keep the country positive and not panicking". Similarly, let's remember what Cuomo said on March 2 (when the crisis was blowing up): "This isn't our first rodeo (on pandemics). We're fully mobilized and readyto deal with it" This is very similar too Trump's comments. And there's since been 32,000 deaths in New York State. Clearly Cuomo wasn't "ready". Bottom line, Cuomo is directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands, of seniors with his executive order. And let's remember that de Blasio, AOC and other Dem leaders said "act normal" and Biden called Trump's China travel ban "xenophobic and hysterical". So I choose #2.

@emilsinclair4190 ..Fair points. And although we could not disagree more on what's worse between #1 and #2, you show an ability to have an adult conversation. It's very rare in a CNN comment section. Have a good one.
