1:56...typical CNN fake news. DeVos wasn't in a scrum answering questions. She was waiting for the elevator. The reporter was asking questions from the background. It actually sounds like the questions were recorded later. And if CNN had an ounce of integrity they'd also report the part of the hearing where DeVos embarrassed the Dems by reminding them the Special Olympics receives the vast majority of their funding from donations. In fact, only 10% came from Federal sources in their 2017 financial statements.

She was waiting for the elevator...not answering questions in a scrum. It's typical CNN fake news to make it appear she was ignoring them. And if you listen closely, it almost sounds like the questions were recorded later.

And the questions were asked while she was waiting for the elevator rather than in a scrum. It almost sounds like they were recorded later. I wouldn't put it past CNN.

@joseesparza9415 ..I'm just saying the whole exchange was very odd. CNN should only report valid interactions. She wasn't in a scrum answering questions.

@joseesparza9415 ..Just to follow up.... Do you notice how CNN changed the subject line for this vid? It used to say DeVos was "ignoring" their questions. The change shows my theory was likely correct.

@Kathryn Foster-martin ..Why do you think CNN changed the subject line for this vid?

Actually, she did a great job embarrassing the Dems. Once again, they tried hard to mislead the American public with alarmist rhetoric and lies-by-omission. She stayed on topic and corrected them. For example, she pointed out the fact the Special Olympics receives most of their funding from donations. Only 10% comes from the Federal budget (2017 financial statements). Something you'll never hear CNN or other fake news reporting.

About 90% of funding comes from donations and other sources. They'll be fine without the 10%. It's a non-issue in the big picture but the Dems tried to make it appear 275,000 kids will suffer due to this decision. smh

@dorianshadesofgray ..I can't disagree it's a tough decision. I just don't like how it's been reported by Liberal media and leveraged by the Dems for a misleading alarmist narrative.

@dorianshadesofgray ..I agree the Reps would've taken the same approach. What irritates me is the misleading reporting of the issue. I guarantee many Americans don't know only 10% of funding is affected. And I'll bet many think the decision affects 275,000 kids and people with special needs. That's the Dem's alarmist narrative in the hearing... and CNN and others have picked up on it. I also guarantee fake-comedy shows like Meyers, Kimmel and Colbert will pounce on the misleading narrative to attack Trump with more lies. Cleverly disguised as satire of course....:/

@dorianshadesofgray ..And hot off the press... I see Trump has restored the funding. I'm now curious what angle the Dems and CNN will use to attack DeVos and the budget with misleading info.

She was waiting for the elevator. She wasn't in a scrum responding to questions. It almost sounds like CNN recorded the questions later. I wouldn't be surprised.
