Fear mongering media like CNN want people to stay uninformed and scared. I encourage those who think the sky is falling to review the official data from the CDC (link below; be sure to read the fine print in the table). Particularly how the number of Covid deaths compare to those from pneumonia and the flu. And how Covid deaths are less than 1% of all deaths. And how the mortality rate is dropping daily and is now about 1%. Perspective is important people. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm

@vidpie ..H1N1 provides important perspective. For example, it infected over 60 million, hospitalized about 275,000 and killed about 12,000. It's illogical to compare the current Covid death numbers, because of they will inevitably change. Some think they'll go way down, some say they'll go way up. The CDC is talking about "25% margin of error". The many stories of States reporting deaths as Covid when they clearly weren't aren't being reported by MSM. Regardless, I think it's important people look at the big picture. Particularly the very low mortality rate for Covid, and the fact children are pretty much immune. Don't get me wrong..I agree we have to be cautious and smart. But the sky isn't falling... and CNN and other fear mongering media really want people to think so.

@vidpie ..I encourage you to seek facts. It appears you may be getting your information from CNN and MSNBC. That's the only explanation for you thinking Trump called the Covid virus a hoax. He didn't. The context of his 'hoax' comment was the Democrats using the virus outbreak for more political attacks..just like impeachment hoax. See link below. Read what Trump really said...and learn. And stop repeating lies. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-coronavirus-rally-remark/

The Democrat base would vote for a sack of potatoes, as long as it's blue. Biden will likely win the popular vote. And let's face it, he isn't far from being a sack of potatoes. Fortunately, our Founding Fathers foresaw this issue. The Electoral College saved the country in 2016, and it'll save it again in 2020.

The fine print for the table indicates there's a "1 to 8 week lag" in reporting of Covid deaths so it will always differ from media numbers. And I agree 100% that MSM should be reporting the official CDC number, particularly since it's becoming clear that many States aren't properly recording deaths.
