You’ve almost figured it out. The subpoenas don’t matter and the Democrats know it. Their motives for the sham committee are strictly political. The truth is secondary.

Let’s say the GOP takes back the House and Senate this fall and immediately opens an investigation into Biden, Pelosi, Hillary, Obama and Schumer for their “Russia Collusion” lies and the fake Steele Dossier. They subpoena them all…and they refuse based on Executive Privilege and their Constitutional rights. 1. Would you support their refusal to testify? 2. Would you assume they must be guilty of treason if they refused?

@carking1043 ..I agree with you 100% the people who rioted at the Capitol are “Dumbasses”. I’ll go further and say they’re idiots and losers. They clearly didn’t understand what Trump meant when he asked supporters to “Peacefully make your voices heard at the Capitol” (bet you didn’t know he said that. And Im glad a bunch of the idiots and losers are serving time. I just wish the BLM and Antifa losers who rioted for months, attacked Federal buildings, killed law enforcement officers and caused $Billions in damage were also serving time. Including the BLM leaders. That they’re not in prison for Domestic Terrorism is one of the biggest travesties of Justice in our country’s history. Lastly, here’s a Fun Fact: By definition, the BLM and Antifa “Autonomous Zone” in the middle of Seattle was an ACTUAL insurrection.

@paulcross635 ..Lol, Trump wasn’t convicted in either of the Democrat’s sham impeachments. Speaking of, here’s a few Fun Facts: 1. Trump’s first impeachment was based on lies and the first in history to have a 100% partisan vote in the House. In fact, the Democrats couldn’t even get all their own members to go along with the scam as 3 voted against impeachment. Bet you didn’t know that. 2. Trump’s second impeachment (re Jan 6) was the first in history without investigations, hearings and witnesses at the House level. The Democrats were then slaughtered with facts in the Senate, particularly the evidence that Democrat leaders repeatedly used the exact same type of rhetoric after 2016;such as saying the election was “Stolen” and people must “Fight for Justice”. Bottom line, the two impeachment’s will go down in history as the Democrats abusing Congressional powers and crapping on the Constitution. A final fun fact: For years Hillary herself repeatedly called 2016 “stolen” and called Trump an “illegitimate President”. Do you think her words incited any of the leftist riots we saw? (rhetorical).

Lol, the committee has nothing. They’re just trying to keep ‘orange man bad’ going for as long as possible for the Democrat’s brainwashed voter base. And of course it’s also a ploy to distract from the epic failures of the Biden administration and the real issues facing the country.

@hunterroberts9951 ..Now we’re finally getting somewhere. Assume for a moment they did refuse. It’s not at all that much of a leap given the current political climate. And it would be especially plausible for them to refuse in the aftermath of the GOP taking back the House and Senate this fall. In that scenario, would you support their defiance of subpoenas (which would be based on Executive Privilege and their Constitutional rights) and would you presume they’re innocent?

The reason others I’ve posed the question to haven’t answered is they would fully support Democrat leaders refusing to testify….which makes them a hypocrite.

The Democrats have tried and failed to get that ridiculous claim to stick. And their comparison of Jan 6 to Pearl Harbour and 9/11 was an insult to thousands of victims…and an even bigger insult to intelligence. One only needs to look at the months of BLM and Antifa riots (including dozens of deaths and attacks on Federal buildings) to realize how completely clueless and out of touch Democrat leaders are. The same Bill Clinton who was guilty of Obstruction of Justice, Witness Tampering and Perjury! Lol! I agree Hillary was incredibly cooperative. The Benghazi thing was a joke and I agree Democrats should be angry about it. But it doesn’t change the fact the Jan 6 committee is beating a dead horse to try to distract from the debacle known as the Biden administration, keep “orange man bad” going for as long as possible, and get revenge for Benghazi. It’s also a lame attempt to influence the midterms and 2024. Just to be clear, if the GOP launches an investigation into the Steele Dossier and the Democrat’s lies about “Russia Collusion”, would you want Hillary, Obama, Pelosi etc to honour subpoenas to testify?
