Perhaps one of the dumbest questions ever asked of a writer, director, producer. Tarantino showed amazing control in his calm answer. (not "fiery")

Typical. A politician stoking fear and anger to garner support. He's giving the NZ psycho exactly what he wants: attention and a platform for his ridiculous manifesto.

I think it's great we're adding some Army equipment to the usual Air Force flyovers. We can't do enough to thank and recognize our entire military. They're why we have an Independence Day.

Perhaps she should use the force to get her parents to film horizontally. (I feel bad for a circa 2013 comment, but it's still irritating)

The climate change movement is very much like a religion. It's based on unreasonable fear and delusional beliefs.

A very honest and articulate description of a serious issue.

Mayweather ruins his legacy with scams like this. It's not like he needs the money.

Part of me wants to see America win. All but one of the players respects the country and military and proudly stands for the national anthem. But one player (the Captain, no less) uses the anthem for her selfish protests and disrespects the country and military. So another part of me wants to see her fail. Such a conundrum.

1:00..."We must love and protect one another". I assume that's a message to those who are involved in drive-by shootings.

0:52...the guy on the right looks like someone who really cares about the environment.

The term "veteran" is very misleading in this case. Bobbitt served 14 months and was discharged at the lowest rank possible long before the end of his first enlistment. He never served in a deployment.
7
@proxyg4884 ...Thank you for your service. And yes, I understand that even if someone serves 20 minutes they could be called a 'veteran'. I just think there's a massive difference between people such as you and Bobbitt.

The Dems continue to embarrass themselves. Pelosi's right to caution the vocal minority within the party on their impeachment delusion.

If burned areas are left wild they'll grow back stronger than ever. Wildfires are a natural part of the ecosystem.
4
A few points: 1. Over 75% of the fires in the Amazon this year were deliberately set. 2. For the 25% that were true wildfires, it's important to remember the Amazon has been experiencing wildfires for over 50 million years. 3. Climate change is a natural occurrence on our 4.5 billion year-old planet and is caused by multiple factors. Human activity is one of them.
4
mary reed ..Do you disagree with using planes and other military equipment for Independence Day celebrations? If so, why?
4
One would think these ships would have camera coverage for all exterior points and sophisticated radar/sonar systems that could easily determine how the damage was caused. I don't believe anything Saudi Arabia says.

I hate to lower myself to the level of Democrats with their nicknames, but Biden really looks like Reverend Kane from Poltergeist 2.
3
@SpecialSP ..Two things. 1. I assume you think it's a "waste of money" and "for ego only" to have jet flyovers as well? 2. Do you think we should remove all current sections of border barriers? If no, why not?
3
Karen Reed ..It appears we have a couple people incapable of answering questions in the section...so maybe you'll be different. Do you also think we should cancel the jet flyovers for the celebrations? If no, why not?

Gilligan's Island is a classic.

Nature being nature. Wild fires have occurred every summer for billions of years. The vid description area is another pile of alarmist crap. If you want a logical perspective, just listen to the wise words of the Russian official at 1:05.
1
Ricky Fontaine ..Did you not note the subtitles?
1
@bt2555 ..You know what I meant with the billions reference. Please direct me to a single shred of scientific evidence these wild fires are "unprecedented and unnatural"? Try to leave the insults and ad-hominem out of your reply.
1
Ricky Fontaine ..That's a refreshing comment, thanks. And I agree with you 100% on the whole Russian thing. It's become an irritating narrative since 2016.

Republicans are Great...Life has been around about 3.5 billion years but you're right, plants and trees have been around for about half a billion years. My reference was hyperbole meant to make a point.

Wild fires are a natural occurrence and play an important role in the eco system. They've been occurring for hundreds of millions of years on our 4.5 billion year old planet. In other words, there's nothing to be alarmed about. Maybe that's why there isn't many views. And I see a lot of people in the comment section who seem to have bought into the alarmist rhetoric and lies-by-omission that this year's wildfires are a "record". They only started keeping records on fires in the amazon in 2013.
1
@MacPr100 ..No, that would be giving it attention. It's not worthy of any mention.
1
The vid description area is very informative.
1
@efrenrodriguez4329 ..?..Did you read the vid description area above? Both towns are listed, along with other relevant info.

The Amazon covers about 2 million square miles. The amount that's burned this year is about 1,500 square miles. That's about .0008%, which is an amount that's far from "destroying our planet". And remember, as long as burned areas are left wild they'll grow back stronger than ever.
1
@tom2314 ..I don't get too concerned about things beyond our control. For example, 99% of all species that have existed in the 3.5 billion years of life on earth have gone extinct. In many cases due to rapid climate change. There's always other species that will adapt and survive. Losing a few is no big deal. There's no doubt we need to be far more responsible with pollution. But the many other factors to climate change will occur regardless of what we do.
1
@tom2314 ..Read my comment again. Slowly. I agree we need to be more responsible with pollution. But there's many factors to climate change and the extinction of species completely beyond our control. Speaking of shaking one's head, I'll never understand why people insult random strangers. Eco-anxiety is a mental illness and you may be afflicted. I prefer adult conversations, so I'll just wish you all the best.

Do you think we should cancel flyovers by our Air Force at events such as these?
1
@cheradora ..Ok, thanks for answering. We'll need to disagree on using military equipment for celebrations. I think it's important to thank and recognize our military as much as possible. And there's a pride that comes from being the strongest nation on earth. The "we could spend the money differently" argument could be applied to countless government activities. Personally, I don't see it applicable here.
