If burned areas are left wild they'll grow back stronger than ever. Wildfires are a natural part of the ecosystem.

A few points: 1. Over 75% of the fires in the Amazon this year were deliberately set. 2. For the 25% that were true wildfires, it's important to remember the Amazon has been experiencing wildfires for over 50 million years. 3. Climate change is a natural occurrence on our 4.5 billion year-old planet and is caused by multiple factors. Human activity is one of them.

@tom2314 ..I don't get too concerned about things beyond our control. For example, 99% of all species that have existed in the 3.5 billion years of life on earth have gone extinct. In many cases due to rapid climate change. There's always other species that will adapt and survive. Losing a few is no big deal. There's no doubt we need to be far more responsible with pollution. But the many other factors to climate change will occur regardless of what we do.

@tom2314 ..Read my comment again. Slowly. I agree we need to be more responsible with pollution. But there's many factors to climate change and the extinction of species completely beyond our control. Speaking of shaking one's head, I'll never understand why people insult random strangers. Eco-anxiety is a mental illness and you may be afflicted. I prefer adult conversations, so I'll just wish you all the best.
