Pause at 0:07..there's a small black car just behind the second cop. Although its brake lights are activated, they're closing very rapidly on the cop, who is accelerating from a dead stop. When they both leave the frame at 0:08 the car is almost even with the bike, which is now trying to enter the same lane with lights flashing. It appears the cop sees the car last second and moves to his left, resulting in the crash. I'm not sure what the cops said about the incident as I'm just seeing this story for the first time. All I know from the video is a good argument could be made the small black car contributed to the accident by not immediately moving to the right and/or yielding to the cops with lights active. And it's also interesting it doesn't appear in the second camera angle starting at 0:10. It clearly did a full stop and swerve to the right to avoid the debris.

It's natural for people to want to help others. The level of cop hate in this section is perplexing.

jayjaylen75 ..I agree the cops made some very poor decisions. My point is simply that a good argument could be made the black car contributed to the accident. It almost seemed to maintain full speed...despite two cops with lights flashing in full view. They didn’t have anyone immediately behind them so could’ve slowed safely. And note how quickly they’re closing on the white car, who is obviously slowing down much quicker. Those who don’t think the black car had anything to do with the accident should ask themselves if it would’ve happened if it wasn’t there?

@Joshg1984 ..0:01 to 0:06..both officers clearly activated their lights. And I agree the black car must have swerved off to to right (its in my comment). My point is there's a good argument to made the car contributed to the accident. And although I haven't researched the incident any further, I presume the cops said the small black car left the scene.
