  3. I just tried to post a longer, more detailed comment here, but it isn't showing up... I'll cut to the chase by noting the electrical college gives much more voting power to individuals in less populated states. It rigs the deck.

  4.  @randygraham926  It was initially for facilitating counting the votes-- back before we had faster means of communication. Now it just gives more representation to voters in less populated states. Their votes count as several of mine-- and yours, if you're also in a more populous state. It's anything BUT fair representation as far as I can see.

  5. It appears to me that you're all arguing in favor of a stacked deck, a rigged system that insures those in states with the smallest populations end up having more voting power than those citizens living in more populous states. Correct?
