  1.  @uwekonnigsstaddt524  I was a reporter living in the war zone in Nicaragua in the 80's, not because I was courageous, but because I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility to unveil Regan's dirty war. I don't believe there's such a thing as courage-- just an overriding call of duty stronger even than fear of dismemberment, torture or death.

  2. When I was a child in the '50's, we had a man with a strong foreign accent bringing a horse cart loaded with "vege-tables" around twice a week-- in our housing development of GI families in Portland, Oregon! It's a lovely little memory....
