Started on acupuncture 5 weeks ago to quit smoking. Totally quit with NO cravings, etc. one month ago. (Yes.) It completely revolutionized my life: mind, body and spirit. I immediately began throwing out at least 2/3 of my things. I'll probably finish the bulk of that project today. I'm nearly 75 and have been living in this house for 19 years, but have taken a pickup load to the thrift store most days for the past 3 weeks. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS PATH LEADS; I MAY END UP SELLING MY HOUSE. *BUT CLEARING OUT MY POSSESSIONS IS EXACTLY LIKE CLEARING THE MUCOUS FROM MY LUNGS.* Much of what you say deeply resonates and validates. THANK YOU.

Oh god yes ..... But keep digging out a bit each day and eventually the momentum one gets from being able to breathe, to see LIGHT, greases the skids! I think today will be my last BIG PURGE day-- I've been both recovering from an illness and clearing out for three exhausting, but exhilarating, weeks. CARRY ON!!! I'm 75, completely alone and if I can manage it, SO CAN YOU!!!! Just don't stop. ❤ PS* I couldn't keep at it today. I've just had a bad virus and my chest/breathing are the problem. But I'll continue tomorrow or just as soon as I can. I'm JAZZED so it'll bug me till it's DONE****

@bigbaldin I think you may be right. Meat, especially excellent grass-fed beef, doesn't taste good to me now. But, actually, few things do. Part of it is knowing how full of poisons it is... I don't even think about cigarettes any longer. They hold NO attraction. I just feel lighter as I shed things.

@stephaniedegange2737 Thanks, Stephanie! I got quite a bit done today! And a lovely woman who's temporarily homeless is going to come live in her car in my driveway for a few days and I'll pay her and feed her to help me. (I know her from a couple years ago and she's a great and talented worker and artist. It's sickening how so many great people are treated like trash in this sociopathic system...)
