I think it may have been Alexander Murcurius (sp?) or even Seymour Hersh who speculated that perhaps at least the secondary purpose of the Ukraine war was always to keep all of Europe under US domination by blowing up the pipeline that created those countries wealth and encouraged peaceful relations with Russia. In other words that may be the primary reason we've "invested" so much in Ukraine.
