  18. From what I see and hear it's a religion with high moral standards, yet doesn't impose its views on others. It seems loving, rational, pacific and pragmatic. I wish there was a small group of Muslims in my area to learn from and just talk with. But I live in a small, rural town in the US.

What lit my fire initially was studying the US labor movement at the turn of the last century: PEOPLE WHO WERE ORGANIZING FOR DECENT LABOR CONDITIONS WERE SLAUGHTERED IN THE STREETS BY THIS GOVERNMENT!!!! From there, I became a serious peace and justice activist, a war correspondent in Nicaragua during their revolution, and the editor-in-chief of the largest international newspaper representing all peace and justice organizations in the western world in the late 70's through the early 80's. And now I'm campaigning for JILL STEIN. ❤️

I'd dearly love to hear a discussion between these two brilliant, lovely men who address the subject from diametrically opposite directions, yet come to the same conclusion. ❤
