  20.  @TheXandemic  It's difficult to help brainwashed people open their minds, but I never actually argue with them. That just hardens their shells. They're in a belief system that's constantly being reinforced by pretty much everything and everyone around them. A lot like a cult, it feels like a safe space. And an outside view will bring their safe world crashing down. They'll feel betrayed by those they deeply trusted. (Because they have been.) I know because I just went through it a few months ago. I'd been convinced Putin was a madman and the jab was good for us... etc. I'm well educated and considered an intellectual so my awakening left me dazed and distrusting of myself-- the scariest position of all to be in. But I have an insatiable curiosity and a lot of time to devote to further investigation and am highly enjoying my quest for the nuggets of truth (Yes, there is such a thing.) I'm digging up. One of my most astonishing discoveries has been the brilliant mind of President Putin and the beauty of Russia and the Russian people. It's so good to know there is sanity, warmth and culture in our sad, tawdry world.... It's given me reason for tremendous hope. And I think my awakening started when I just watched an unnarrated YouTube film of Gorky Park!!!! Nothing "political"-- it was just mind blowing to see the fantastic beauty of a park with healthy, happy, well-dressed (in many different styles-- some with purple hair, etc.), casually laying their purses and bags down and dancing-- without a thought of being robbed. It was perhaps their carefree demeanor that surprised me more than anything. So much the opposite of what we feel..... So even just introducing a person to FRIDAY NIGHT DANCING IN GORKY PARK (I think the video was called that...) can pry open a mind and lead to lead to a great awakening. Argument generally does the opposite. Check out that video, see what you think-- and don't give up on communication! Big hugs! (From another lonely heart.)
